Hi Brent,

The only way to do that would be to use the Columns shortcodes and do the columns by hand within the visual editor for that individual post.

Regards,

I have my blog content width set at 640px and the flexible grid also shows up as 640 px wide in the single page blog. What should the CSS settings be to have the blog page set at 640 px wide and the single page flexiable grid at it's normal wider width once I click on the image in the blog?

Thanks

Hey,
you can change the width(s) in style.css - search for following code:

#content {
    float: right;
    margin: 0;
    overflow: hidden;
    position: relative;
    width: 640px;
}

and:

#sidebar {
    float: left;
    margin-right: 50px;
    overflow: hidden;
    position: relative;
    width: 250px;
}

Adjust the width values (and margin-right value if you like) as required.

Can anyone tell me where to edit the default width of the page and blog post. Also the widget area as well.

I need about 40 more PX on the page and 40 less PX on the widget side. My theme is display. Check out this page. http://www.steveolsongroup.com/homes-for-sale-details/3822-N-36TH-STREET-PHOENIX-AZ-85018/4710039/123/

The property cuts off at the end just barely. Thoughts?

Thanks for response, but this just makes the blog wider losing the sidebar and when I click to go to post the blog width goes back to the same smaller width.

The sidebar (Blog Archives) is taking in the space for the blog page. You can remove this sidebar if you'd like so the blog can be wider. Or you can just make the sidebar less wide. To adjust these widths you can open your style.css file and change the width value of the following lines:

#content, .entry-no-pic .entry-content

#top .fullwidth_sidebar

.news-right

the last one is the width of your actual pos, but you need to change the other two in order to keep your values homologous.
Keep in mind this might alter other pages too that use the same page template.

Hi,
I followed the above directions on single.php to make blog posts full width, but now the first three lines of any post are kicked to the right, as you can see here. http://66.147.244.60/~deangyor/?p=106

If I start text below any code, it justifies correctly, to the left.

I need to move the text to the left, and also extend the lines and "comment" field all the way to the right.

And it may not be a template issue, but I'm having a hard time getting the text to wrap around the shadowbox. I added this to style.css

.classname{
margin:15px;
float:right;
}

to go with the code (below) for the post in the above link. Any help you could provide with that would be appreciated.

<div class="classname">
