Hi meezie,

The file you get from Themeforest is a zip file that you'll need to unzip on your computer. Once unzipped you should see a couple of folders and files. One of those is labeled choices.zip (or just choices if you aren't showing extensions).

It is this file that you can upload via the Wordpress install themes tab where you select a zip file to upload.

If you are installing via FTP, unzip the choices.zip folder and within you should see choices and _MACOSX. You want to install just the choices folder into your themes folder on your server's wordpress files.

Regards,

Hi RyanM6,

Glad you were able to revert. It looks like one of the loops was removed in the new version of WooCommerce so it'll need to be updated in the theme files.

I've answered a few of your other questions in the past half hour or so and hopefully that helps with getting everything moving a bit more smooth for you now :)

Hey there, I had to re-upload the older version of both plugins to get the site to show products. The site is live, and I needed it to work. Which it does with the older version.

I hope that wasn't frustrating to you and that it was still helpful to be alerted of the problem.

Hello there,

I upgraded to the most current version of WooCommerce & the Auth.net extension and now I can not see the paginated product block on the homepage. And when I go to the shop pages there is a large gap in between the bottom of the header and the actual widgets intended for the page.

I went through and turned on and off every single plugin that I have integrated into my use of your theme and it does not resolve the issue.

I am using Wordpress 3.3.2
Theme Version: 1.5

Trying to get the site stable has been very difficult. We're dead in the water.

Help.

Definitely odd. It might have been a setting that was unable to be applied without Propulsion being active and hitting the dummy content caused it to be reset (is it imports a whole host of settings/posts/configurations.

Either way glad it was resolved! :)

No, it didn't see any missing file errors. I always ftp my theme files to the server manually.

Strange thing is that I uploaded Propulsion; when it was activated I could see it... but not this Angular. However, in a last ditch effort I imported dummy content, and that seemed to fix the issue. Very Strange!

Hi Heather,

When you look at your list of themes, does Wordpress give you any warnings about Angular missing a style.css or anything like that?

Also, can you tell me which method you used to install the theme to your server?

I just switched to the angular theme on a site I'm building... However, when I activate the theme I see a blank page. This does not happen when I re-activate the previous theme, so I know it's an issue with Angular. I have re-uploaded all the files, but this doesn't fix the issue.

The test site is at: http://50.22.40.242/~glutenfr/

Hey,
we're not aware of "major" GoDaddy issues (some of our users host with Godaddy). Only the contact form doesn't work with Godaddy hosting. You can use plugins like Contact Form 7 or Formidable.

Make sure you bought the WP version of Newscast and not the html version. If the theme files contain index.html, etc. (and not php files) you bought the standalone html version which will not work with wp.

Hey,
version.rtf mentions all modified files. You just need to upload these files (you can use a ftp software like filezilla). I.e. if you're using version 1.0 and the latest is 1.0.8 upload all files which are mentioned in the changelog from version 1.0.1 to 2.0.x.

Hey,
1) You can set up the menus via admin panel (Appearance > Menus). Once your there, simply create 2 menus and call the first one "First" and the other menu "Second".
Then, whatever items you add to the first menu, shows up on the first menu bar on the site, and the items on the menu called Second, show in the second menu bar. A tutorial can be found here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/i-can%e2%80%99t-create-a-custom-menu-the-menu-behaves-weird

2) The slider shows featured images of posts. Click on "Upload" => Pick image => Use as featured image" on the post/page editor page. You need to set featured image for all posts which will display in the slider. You can change the slider category in the wp admin panel ( Newscast Options > Mainpage Options).

3) You can add your widget (Appearance > Widgets) into the predefined widget areas (Display Everywhere, etc.)

Hi there,

I am having major difficulties setting up this theme on my wordpress site. I can't seem to get the slider to work, the dropdown on the top menu doesn't work, and the sidebar widgets don't show. I have followed the documentation and I am still unclear on what to do. The documentation still seems quite limited and is not addressing that problems that I am having. I was hoping that I could get my website up and running fairly quickly and now am left hanging.

Could someone please help me to get this theme up and running or unfortunately I will have to ask for a refund.

No - not really. It works for me here. Maybe you need to exclude the jquery libary (the widget loads it by default - you can deactivate this feature by using the mailpress widget options).

Ok I did and it appears to be the mailpress plugin - any ideas as to why it would do this? it is version 5.1.1 (mailpress).

Thanks,

I think the error is caused by a plugin - please try to deactivate them one by one to find the conflicting one.
