Hi mindas,

You should change the width and height of the slider which is defined in functions.php. Kindly open wp-content/themes/coalition/functions.php and find this code:

$avia_config['imgSize']['page'] 			= array('width'=>610, 'height'=>255);		// image for pages and one column portfolio

Replace 610 (width) to 680 and change the height value (you can put any value). Save it and use the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to regenerate all your images. Hope this helps.

Regards,
Ismael

Hi , I have edited quick css code as described above in order to reduce size of the side bar and match the width of the logo. Current dimensions 680px* 190px. But now all the content in contend page and the slider is narrower. Is it possible to adjust slider to the new size of content section?

Many thanks in advance

I checked your site and it seems to be looking good and the width of the content is 690 and sidebar is 180. If you are still seeing 610, kindly clear the browser cache.

Hi gideoncourtney,

Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

.content {
    width: 610px;
}
.sidebar {
    width: 260px;
}

Then adjust the two values as needed so that they still equal 870px.

Regards,

Hi RGOnline,

Its just the way the grid is structured for the content areas. The main width is 990px and the container for the main content area has a 30px margin on each side to create the 930px wide grid that all of the site content is built on.

The footer and slideshow areas are designed to stand out a bit I would guess which is why they span the full width of the container.

As a work-around for an earlier issue, I'm embedding the Etsy shop into my page. However, as you can see in the link above, the content area is too narrow. I don't use right sidebars anywhere on my site, so is it possible to increase the width of the main content area on the pages so that the entire Etsy shop is visible. Right now there should be 5 images across, and there are 3 1/2.

Thanks!

Hey Thor,

It could be related to any specific css you might have added in. I believe the #top gets a logged in class for logged in users compared to those that are not so perhaps that will help in finding the issue.

Hi, I notice that it still occurs, but only when I'm logged in... very strange.

All of a sudden it all seems to function as it shall again... Strange. I can't see that I have done anything to make that happen... But the site is online now, and you can have a look at it here: http://webkunst.no/

Cheers, Thor

I forgot to tell which pages are OK... It seems that all pages listed out from WooCommerce (shop, my account, cart, chekout...) has the sidebar in the place it should be.

But ordinary pages with no WooCommerce content will have a problem showing the sidebar where it should be. It drops behind the content area of those.
