gsporch: seems you already fixed the issue? seems tow ork fine for me :)

elblabs: have you entered the urls the same way your wordpress installation is set up: that means using no www in the image url if your site doesnt use www. this is unfortunately a tricky flash security issue :)

the missing font.swf file is a bug of the slideshow that never received a fix from the creator, cant help with that, sorry :/

Hey there! Same problem over here … seems like cu3er is the problem?
When i first used the XML-File everything was fine – but i needed a fallback for iOS Devices. So i've read in this forum that i should use the gallery manager – what i did.

Right now, nothing works at all (except jQuery)

Something like "/wordpress/font.swf" and "flaschvars.font" is missing.

Check the site
http://elblabs.com/wordpress/

Can someone help me?
I just want it to work…

I change my host server to a new one, and i just import the xml file with posts, pages, etc... After that, i rebuild all template settings manually and after all this, the slider doesnt work anymore!

Did u know why? website: http://www.b2br.com.br/en/

Im using the sliders setup on XML file! I already check the images url's and everything is fine... i can access all images with the image adress, but the slider on home page cannot load that!

Ty! :)

Hey,
did you change the thumbnail size(s) in functions.php too? Maybe you need to regenerate the thumbnails afterwards: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

You need to adjust following thumbnail size:

$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio2'] = array('width'=>460, 'height'=>260); // medium preview pic for 2 column portfolio and small 3d slider

Hey,
we can't update Cu3er because of license reasons. We had problems with Heart before - they're blocking loopback connections which breaks the slider function.

Hi there,

I have just contacted Cu3er direct and they have said the following... "The template you bought is using old beta version of CU3ER for which we do not offer support anymore, so about all problems with it you should contact template designer".

Please can you tell me when you are going to update the Cu3er software or how I can for your template?

Kind regards

Thanks for coming back to me, any suggestions on a new UK hosting company? Also, this is the latest information from Heart on the problem... any ideas?

I have tried to strace your site. This command stores the output in a file called output

[thewebsurgery.com@web36 ~]$ strace -o ~/output -f -r -s4096 -p29754
Process 29754 attached - interrupt to quit
Process 29754 detached

There are 3 processes that are taking 3 seconds each
[thewebsurgery.com@web36 ~]$ cat output | cut -c12-16 | sort -rn | head
3.002
3.000
2.999

29754 0.000113 poll([{fd=5, events=POLLIN|POLLOUT|POLLERR|POLLHUP, revents=POLLIN|POLLERR|POLLHUP}], 1, 60000) =1
29754 3.002003 getsockopt(5, SOL_SOCKET, SO_ERROR, [111], [4]) = 0

29754 0.000078 poll([{fd=5, events=POLLIN|POLLOUT|POLLERR|POLLHUP, revents=POLLIN|POLLERR|POLLHUP}], 1, 60000) =1
29754 3.000140 getsockopt(5, SOL_SOCKET, SO_ERROR, [111], [4]) = 0

29754 0.000083 poll([{fd=5, events=POLLIN|POLLOUT|POLLERR|POLLHUP, revents=POLLIN|POLLERR|POLLHUP}], 1, 60000) =1
29754 2.999907 getsockopt(5, SOL_SOCKET, SO_ERROR, [111], [4]) = 0

Looks like this is being delayed by a delay on poll, each of 3 seconds equaling a total of nine seconds. You should check your scripts as there appears to be a problem with them.

Hey,

This problem isn't something WordPress is doing "wrong", it just the way that content is loaded. Talk to Heart and see if they've misconfigured their server, alternatively I'd suggest another host. Lets put it this way, I've never heard good things about Heart...

Hi there, Its Heart Internet in the UK. The website is trying to make a loop back connection back to the same server to obtain some content, it appears to make a loop back request stall for 2-3 seconds then load again and tries to loop back again for a total of 9 seconds.

Do you know how I can check the loop back issue and edit the scripts so that the main images load quickly?

Hi there, I have had my website up and running for months but suddenly there is a problem with the flash code as there is a stall between accessing the site and the flash program executing. Prior to my slide-show beginning there is a Cuber logo for the flash program being used and it appears as if this is what is causing the delay.

Please could you help me sort this problem out and see what the flash code is doing while waiting to display the slide-show?

Hi there

I'm using Display for a client of mine who is using the front page slider to link to various sections of his site (as one does!) The links work fine, but only if you hover over the first half or 2/3 of the image. The bottom part of the image doesn't link at all. This is probably usually fine, but because in this case the first slider image has underlined text in the bottom half of the image, people are likely to aim for that spot instead of the upper half of the image.

http://incidentmc.com/

Is there any way to extend the area covered by the link to cover the entire image?

Thanks!

Hi!

Have you made any changes recently or added a new plugin?

Try disabling all your plugins to see if this helps :)

Regards,
