Hi SureSitesInc,

The only thing I can think of is the menu is overly large and you need more server memory. This was probably one of the fixes suggested in the other topics you found on the issue. If so, have you increased the allotted memory for wordpress to use?

You can also try try viewing the menus manager in another browser after deactivating the plugins in case some local cache is causing the issue.

Regards,

Hi

Trying to add a page to a drop down in my menu, however my custom menu drag and drop is not working. I tried deactivating plugins, but this didn't seem to do the trick. Any reason why my menu drag and drop would not be working? I saw this posted in two other threads that are now closed. Tried the suggestions there, but nothing seemed to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi bevlogenverf,

Try to add this code in your Quick CSS (located inside Replete > Theme Options > Styling) or custom.css (located in the css folder of the Replete theme's folder):

#footer .widget {
 padding: 30px 0 30px 0 !important;
}

Hope this helps. :)

It's okay, Devin. We went ahead and made the move to use WooCommerce's Subscription plugin to consolidate our functions and the issue has been resolved. Thank you for helping us make a decision while trouble shooting this issue.

I'm not able to test on the iPhone but I did read about iPhone having issues with items set with a min-height like the plugin seems to do. I would suggest checking with the plugin author to see if they have encountered the issue previously and how best to change the values within the plugin itself to see if it solves the issue.

Hey there,

Thank you for the response. I added both maximum and minimum settings the the class in my custom.css file and it didn't work. I am pretty wary of updating the version of Wordpress that we are using due to the fact that my membership plugin is oh so very touchy and I need to confirm that their plugin is compatible with the newest version of Wordpress before making the move.

But, to clarify - you noticed the theme not working on iPhones with the latest version of Wordpress? And do you have any other ideas/suggestions as to fixing the scrolling issue with the current version of Wordpress that I am using?

Hi RyanM6,

So the issue is with this page: https://www.underwearsociety.com/amember/profile and you not being able to scroll down on the iPhone correct? Just a guess but it looks like maybe iPhone specifically doesn't work well with min-height:100% which the plugin sets for that pages content. Try setting it manually to a specific height.

Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

.am-layout {
height: 742px !important;
}

If that doesn't do the trick, try overwriting the min height as well and use:

.am-layout {
height: 742px !important;
min-height: 742px !important;
}

Have you tried updating Wordpress? It looks like you are using 3.3 and not 3.4 which may (or may not) cause compatibility issues. I do know that 3.4 worked with the theme and the last version of WooCommerce (NOT 1.6).

Kriesi is looking into WooCommerce 1.6 issues now.

Regards,

Hi there.

Yes. I disabled every plugin, including the membership plugin and it did not resolve the issue. I activated the default theme 2011 and tested. I could scroll through the form on my iPhone which leads me to believe the issue is theme related.

Now, after updating the woocommerce and authnet extension to see if that would resolve the issue - the theme is broken. I don't see the products on our homepage. And all of the shop pages have a huge gap in between the intended widgets and absolutely nothing just below the header.

So frustrated right now.

Hi there,

I have a couple links to external, https links built into our Primary navigation via the custom menu. Whenever I try to test those links on a phone I can't scroll down to fill in the form. This is the form we use for our members to sign up.

Would you please take a look to let me know if this is a theme wide problem or something that I have done that may have caused this? All edits and changes have been added to the custom.css file.

Oh, man. After a couple days rest I went in and took a look at my text widgets and both of you were right. I did not have the closing tag in many places (mass cutting and pasting of the same error). And the phrasing was off as well in a bunch of places where the closing tag was. If it made it in there at all.

Thank you for being patient and gently nudging me to take a closer look at a fatigue based oversight/blindness.

Also, I went ahead and deleted the default menu categories that come with the theme to see if that did it. It didn't. And then I deleted each custom menu that I had in the footer there, one by one. When both were gone and that widget block was blank, the lines moved over to the next footer widget. Then when I re-added it - they went back to the first block.

Weird.

Hi Mya,

I'm not sure what you mean by extra menu items? What I have there are two custom menus stacked on top of each other in that first footer slot. I went to take a look at both menu blocks that I created in Custom Menus and both are just custom menus. No code entered by me at all.

I have been having a hell of a time getting the layered navigation widgets to work as well. And it is weird that it is only (this issue of the lines) on my blog pages. I'll go in and look at each blog post to see if I didn't leave a tag or div open somewhere. But, I think it might be something to do with the php. I'm not sure.

In any case, is this what you mean by 'extra menu items'? Or did I miss the question?

Thank you!

Hi RyanM6,

When I look at your source code this is what I see:

Personal Memberships

Near as I can tell the extra lines are from the blank A HREF tags -

Not sure how those are there. Do you have any extra menu items?

Regards,
Mya

Also, I just downloaded the most recent version of the theme and dragged the files that needed to be updated into my directory via FTP and I'm still having the same issues.

Hi there,

I'm getting lines above my Custom Menu in the first footer widget on my blog pages. The lines don't show up anywhere unless I am a blog page or post.

I am also having issues with the layered navigation widget showing up on my single product overview pages but have another separate thread about that on this forum as well.

I'd appreciate help figuring out why it is doing this.

Thanks again,

Bryan
