hello,

I have added a custom widget are for a contact page, and inserted a text widget there so I can either a photo or video.

after adding the html needed to display the desired image, i have the correct item within the sidebar area, but for some reason, the item is repeated in the main content area above the contact form.

you can see it here: http://mindsparkconsulting.com/clients/fw/contact/

can this be disabled?

thanks,

Thank you Nick.

All I need is code for a 100% wide navigation bar and code for a menu as described in the above screenshot, maybe there are scripts or plugins that I can use, if you are aware of any, let me know.

Hello,

I just bought the Choices WordPress Theme yesterday and I love it so far but I have to make some customization work and I don't want to break the code.

You can see how I want it to look in the following image. I'm ready to pay for this custom work.

Please let me know how much would this cost.

Thank you!

Hi SA,

You'll need to open search.php in /wp-content/themes/propulsion/ then replace the following lines.

<?php

//get the sidebar
$avia_config['currently_viewing'] = 'page';

get_sidebar();

?>

I'm not familiar with the Custom Sidebar plugin so you'll need to see their FAQ or support for specific instructions on what to add. It may just be as simple as using this snippet of code. I'm not sure though.

<?php if ( !function_exists('dynamic_sidebar')
        || !dynamic_sidebar() ) : ?>
<?php endif; ?>

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Hi,

you can try using a plugin called Widget Logic, this allows you to manage widgets specifically per page.

Problem Page Example: http://capturevideo-photo.com/photography/free-hair-make-up
I would like to be able to choose a specific set of sidebar widgets that only show up on the single post pages. I have searched the forums and have found a few similar questions, none that have been answered.
Under appearance/widgets I see a "sidebar blog" widget area but when I add widgets here they appear site wide, not just on the blog pages. I do not want to add this set of widgets to every page on my site, I would just like to fill the dead space in the sidebar of the single post pages.

I would even settle for making the single post pages full width, with no sidebar.

Any help would be most appreciated!

You can set a (global) variable at the beginning of the templates - i.e if you're on the contact page:

in header.php define:

global $template;

and on the template contact page set a value for $template:

$template = 'contact';

and in sidebar.php you can use if statements a la if $template == 'contact {....} else if ........

This is not supported in Cubit, and unfortunately porting the sidebar code form Twicet is beyond the scope of this support forum. Though it might be the case that someone else has done something similar and can help you so be sure to check back. Thanks for purchasing Cubit.

Hi Kriesi or Whoever gets this!

I recently purchased this theme and i would like to know if it is possible to have custom sidebar templates. For example, i want one for the blog section, one for the contact section and one for the pages.

Wondered if it's possible to copy the sidebar template from twicet for example.
