Hi,

I am having trouble customizing the sidebar in the "Sermon" and "Blog" templates. I want to hide the auto-generated "Pages" navigation that shows up at the top of every sidebar. I would rather have categories and sub-navigation be at the top of those pages. How do I do this??

Thanks,

I'm sorry but it's not easily possible to replace the theme slider with another, third party slider. If you really want to implement the Revolution Slider you need to hire a freelancer/coder for the job. If you just want to insert the slider somewhere into the page content I'd recommend to use the wordpress plugin version: http://codecanyon.net/item/slider-revolution-responsive-wordpress-plugin/2751380 which seems to support shortcodes. Then you can embed the slider by using a simple shortcode in your page/post content.

Hi - I did a website using Replete for a client and he wants to replace the slider with Revolution Slider. I am unsure what file to edit, and where to paste the code, to get the new slider to function.

The code to use is: <?php putRevSlider("example1"); ?>

Hi leonvalentine,

For that level of customization you'll need to look into a freelance developer or an extensions/plugin for woocommerce itself.

I have not check in a while, but I believe there was an extension in developer to make WooCommerce a listing type service instead of a store though I don't have a link to it specifically.

Hi I am in a similar situation. I would like to use the WooCommerce plugin to generate a quote request rather than a standard e-commerce check-out experience.

I followed the instructions here to successfully change the "Cart" at the top of the page to "Quote." I would also like to:

1) Allow products with no price specified to be added to the cart / quote

2) Change "View Cart" button to read "View Quote" on cart drop down

3) Change "Checkout" button to read "Submit" on cart drop down

4) Change the "Add to Cart" button to read "Add to Quote" on product pages (http://restinchairs.com/product/massage-chairs/x-1/)

5) Change "Update Cart" button to read "Update Quote" on cart page (http://restinchairs.com/cart/)

6) Change "Checkout" button to read "Submit" on cart page (http://restinchairs.com/cart/)

7) Set the checkout / submit buttons (on both cart drop down and cart page) to redirect to a custom URL, not the WooCommerce checkout page

Hallo,

.template-blog .three.units.blog-meta{
display: none !important;
}

#top .template-blog .offset-by-three {
padding-left: 0;
}

Ok found the solution for ajax post view, to customize pic and text containers. in coherence/functions-coherence.php. I just changed the proportions, two_third first on row 62 and one_third on row 66.

I made the text container little bit wider. see below.

row 62
echo "<div class='flex_column three_fifth first'>";

Hi Ats,

You can modify the includes>loop-portfolio-single.php file in the theme files and change the layout of the single portfolio pages as needed. Looking at your layout there however, I don't believe there is a way to just have the text wrap below the slideshow area without severely altering the entire html structure of that page.

What others have typically done is make the slideshow/image area go full width and then have the text underneath do the same. You can do that by modifying the grid in that file so that both containers are twelve units instead of eight and four.

Regards,

Is there an easy way (some basic css) to customize the single portfolio post page. I have little more text content than usual and it stretches the left side too long. it should effect only the single portfolio page view.

Hi,

My guess is Komikax is not the name of the font but only the abbreviation of Komika Axis, the full name. So just as in :

you need to put first the full proper name, and then the file abbreviation.

"subtype" => array(	'Komika Axis=>'komikax',

I believe he meant to copy the output from fontsquirrel.com, and add the appropriate css code given by them to your custom.css file. The website will give you instructions. Just add the css class of the new font given to you by font squirrel to the html elements that you want to use the font on.

I have deleted all other font.js files except for Arvo.Font.js

So in "register-admin-options.php" it looks like this now:

fonts for your headings",
"id" 	=> "font_heading",
"type" 	=> "select",
"std" 	=> "oswald",
"subtype" => array(	'Komikax'=>'komikax',

                                                                                'Arvo'=>'arvo',

				            					));

I do see it as an option in Layout & Styling to select.

when you mention style code to css/custom.css are you referring to the following code
(of course change the word cufon to the new font face i would like to use)

array(
'elements'	=> '.cufon_headings',
'key'	=>	'cufon',
'value'		=> avia_get_option('avia, font_heading')
),

also I have to disable cufon fonts before doing anything?

You can use a font face kit from fontsquirrel: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface - afterwards add the style code to css/custom.css, upload the fonts into the css folder and apply the new (font-face) font family to any elements of your choice (eg h1,h2, etc. headlines).

You need to use following code instead:

html#ecwid_html body#top .ecwid {
    float: right;
}

It's just a starting point but it shows you the right direction for your custom styles. Tools like Firebug can help you a lot when it comes to css customizations.
