Hi faceforward1,

You would need to have a freelance developer assist with that level of customization. The header structure would need to be heavily re-done or lots of css tweaks and making the logo class selector position:absolute and then forcing the header to a proper height.

For just the background image, you can do something like:

#header .container_wrap.header_color {
background-image: url(http://yoursite.com/image.png);
}

And position the background image that way.

Regards,

I'd like to enlarge my logo so that it overlaps the slider - without disrupting the slider show. How might I do this? Or, if I could create a background image for the header that would be suffice. If so, what would be the pixel size to fit the header perfectly?

Hi,

Problem is that I have nothing to test this with but I still say that the plugin that generates a gif image every few seconds looks mighty suspicious. Also you are missing an image in the lightbox (next image) that is throwing an error. http://michaellungren.com/wp-content/themes/velvet/images/prettyPhoto/light_rounded/btnNext.png <--missing image. I am installing an emulator to attempt to see it that way.

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8hqGBMSfHtKb2dsLUpYVFJYeUU/edit?usp=sharing you can take a look at the images being generated, made a screen cast since it was a bit unusual.

Thanks,

Hi,

For some reason you have a gif image that is encoded in base64 being endlessly generated over and over again every 10 seconds by portfolio-slideshow plugin. This specific file that generates it: ( <script type="text/javascript" src="http://michaellungren.com/wp-content/plugins/portfolio-slideshow/js/portfolio-slideshow.min.js?ver=1.5.1"></script> ) The version of the script you are using is 1.03 , despite the file claiming its 1.51.. while the current version is 2.11 ( https://github.com/desandro/imagesloaded/blob/master/jquery.imagesloaded.js ) Please update this file or the plugin itself and perhaps this problem will be fixed.

Thanks,

I have a problem with the portfolio images in the Velvet theme, when you go to an individual image to get a closer look. I thought this was an iPhone problem but it looks like it is a touch screen problem, because I have a touch screen win8 laptop and it does the same thing.

The problem is when you use the fingers to scale the image the screen or image shoots to the right. I figure it is a code problem but could not find anything and that is why I came here to see if you have seen this problem. Here is the link to the site http://michaellungren.com

Hi InterdisciplinaryInnovation,

Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    #top .slideshow_container.dynamic_element .slideshow_inner_caption { height: auto;}
}

That should do it :)

I would like to prevent the caption text from disappearing when the responsive theme adjusts to a smaller screen size. (specifically with the space picture and the capture which says "Be the change you want to see in the world. - Gandhi"

The below link is using Angular v1.3, and when the screen is made smaller, the text just gets smaller, but the words are always visible.
http://therealmofpossibility.org/home/

In Angular v1.4, using the same photo and the same text, when the screen is made smaller, the words simply disappear. As seen on the below page:
http://interdisciplinaryinnovation.org/

My question is, how can I get the text to be responsive. If this was corrected in version 1.5, please let me know, of if you have any suggestions on how I could fix this problem.

Thanks!

Hello!

I've been trying to enlarge the upload size, it's now only 8MB. I'v tried this through adapting the HTaccess files, but it didn't work out. I also tried to upload files through FTP. Then I do see my files in the folder, but I can't find them in Media in Wordpress. So I do know that I have to change it in the settings of WP and in the file /cgi-bin/php.ini, but I can't find it / can't make it work. Can you please help? Thanks in advance!

When I click a small preview image on my frontpage I go to my big image for single portfolio pages. ('width'=>930, 'height'=>523)
When I click that image is opens the lightbox and (re)sizes the image to its actually size. Can I turn this application off?

What code do I have to remove?
