Okay,

look at the content slider of http://epicase.de/portfolio/epicase-artwork-collection-galaxy-s-4/
there I had to spread one into two because when I put more then 19 items at once, the whole content of the page disappears.

Hi,

It is unfortunately not that simple to accomplish, due to a long time Wordpress issue http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/17807 ... The issue is discussed here http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/42234/thumbnails-on-next-previous-links-in-custom-post-type-single-php?rq=1

This syntax doesn't seem to work on taxonomies other than category where 13,14,15 would be category id's to exclude.

<?php next_post_link('%link', 'Next post in category', FALSE, '13 and 14 and 15'); ?>

However there is a plugin that claims to bypass this issue http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/previous-and-next-post-in-same-taxonomy/

Please hang on.

Thanks,

Hi,

Yes Im using the item categories. But Im not using the ajax version, so the portfolio items open up in a new page. It seems to be working correctly with ajax. Im prefering the single page view though, should it be working on that as well?

Hi!

Thanks for a great theme! I wonder if I can change so that the "next" and "previous" link at the bottom of the portfolio single page only cycles though certain portfolio categories?

For example, we're planning of using portfolios both for our projects and for the co-worker page. And now when I click on the first co-worker, the previous link is a project. We would like to divide those categories.

Hi,

In this theme unfortunately the portfolio item page doesn't have a right sidebar. Its possible to add it, if the right vertical column which currently lists the portfolio item properties is moved someplace else, but since the theme is responsive, it will have to be changed in all 4 media queries for mobiles , tablets , etc.. I just tried using a plugin to force a sidebar into the area but it didn't work as expected. If its integral to your business, I would suggest hiring a freelance developer. However I i will take another look to see if some corners can get cut to get the sidebar installed.

Thanks,

Hi there,

A long time without asking some help :)

I have reduced the portfolio single entrie container for the image (or slideshow), with the grid.css file. It's ok for a full width page like this one :
http://lacroiseedeschemins.ma/catalogue/

But I have a problem doing it into a dynamic template with sidebar, like this page :
http://lacroiseedeschemins.ma/catalogue/etudes/

as you can see the changes don't appear.

Can you help me ?

Thank you for the support,

Hi jorisvh,

As far as I know that wouldn't be possible with the theme options. What you could do, is instead of attaching the image to the portfolio as a gallery, you could insert the image into the visual editor, then have the link for that image go to another portfolio item that has that image set as the "Background slider only". It won't auto hide the other elements of the page, but we can help you add some CSS that can hide the main content area and such for that page alone.

Regards,

Hello all,

I have a portfolio entry and in the entry I have a gallery set up with the Image list attached to the entry. When you click on it a lightbox shows up. But is it possible to link it to a fullscreen page. So when you click on the image you go to a fullscreen page of the image?

THanks a lot.

Glad that you found a solution :)
I'll report this thread to Kriesi - maybe he's interested to include your suggestion in the next update.

Well, it required some editing in avia.js. The function you need to adjust is $.fn.avia_ajax_portfolio. Here you have a controls.bind function. Basically this binds some behavior to the 3 control buttons.
When you take a close look at this function, you will notice that the latest else if binds a function to the close button. Its this function you also need to bind to the sort buttons. And the sort buttons can be found with a selector: sortButtons = $('#js_sort_items a', container);.
Maybe this can be a feature request for next updates. Until then, this works for me.

Greetings,
