That will clear it out and allow you to customize the footer with your own widgets. However, if you want to change the text beside the copyright, kindly open wp-content\themes\eunoia\footer.php and find this line of code: <code>© <?php _e('Copyright','avia_framework'); ?> - <a href='<?php echo home_url('/'); ?>'><?php echo get_bloginfo('name');?></a><?php echo $kriesi_at_backlink; ?></code> Replace it with: <code>© <?php _e('Copyright','avia_framework'); ?> Change This</code> And just change the "Change This" text.
