playing around with the options i found that the header to me looks even better with some shadow like:
box-shadow: 0 0 0.5em rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.8);

http://mz.muze1.de

Great, this works perfect. Are there any plans or actual suggestions about the small fixed header WITH social icons? This would be awesome!

Hi,
finally i found a theme that matches our criteria, for it is flexible and so beautifully designed. Great masterpiece!!!

on http://mz.muze1.de i am using the the bigger header along with social icons and the additional navigation. Since it stylish and modern, i want to keep those two header types fixed while the rest of the page is scrolling. TRied some ideas but none of them worked as supposed to.

Your help is highly appreciated, thanks in advance - and keep up that great work. You have made me switch from Joomla to WP ;-)

Regards, Sebastian.

Hi,

We will need to see the URL where the theme is to do a trace on the javascript and see whats going on there. You can cloak you url with http://www.goo.gl if you like. Also please check the version of Flashlight you are using, (inside top of styles.css file) Flashlight v2.3 is the latest version. If you dont have it , please update on themeforest.net

Thanks,

Hi, Im working on your theme for a website of my client, i'm having issues with the sidebar and the background. When scrolling on safari the sidebar scrolls up with the rest of the page, and the css property {position:fixed !important;top:0;left:0;} doesnt work on safari either.

After tryal and error i found out that on the structure of the sidebar the div "inner_sidebar" works with the javascript that set the slider "avia_fullscreen_slider.js". after errasing the div, the sidebar works perfect with no scolling. but the Background disappears.

it has something to do with:

"sidebars.each(function()
{
var current = $(this),
sidebar_inner = $('.inner_sidebar', this),
sb_offset = sidebar_inner.offset(),
sb_check_val = sidebar_inner.height() + sb_offset.top + 66;

 if(!current.is('.sidebar_absolute')) sb_check_val = sb_check_val - win.scrollTop();
"

Could you help me .
thanks in advance

This problem miraculously fixed itself a couple of days ago. I wish I knew why, but I suspect that the culprit may have been a plugin that needed updating. I did a bunch of updates last week, but didn't check the template builder until a few days later.

I don't think the OS or Safari was the problem. I double checked everything and the problem was that I have 2 domain names where one is forwarding the url to the other website. I now have changed the settings of the way my website is forwarded and hope this should fixe everything.

Thanks for the help!

Hello there.

Thanks for the great theme! But I came acros something I cannot figure out. I usually use Google Chrome and it works fine with this browser however when I switch to Safari the background won't stay fixed. It is going along with the content and breaks up on some places.

Hi there,

I did quite a bit of searching and didn't find an identical problem. My issue is that when I open the template builder, the page becomes totally unresponsive (I'm working in Safari and using a child theme). No scrolling, clicking, anything. Everything else works just fine, pages are appearing as they should, etc. The whole Wordpress dashboard is AOK except for the Template Builder.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

(I saw another thread with a vaguely related issue that said it may be a plugin conflict, so deactivated plugin culprits with no luck.)

Guys, I asked this question over ONE MONTH ago. I understand this is a fluid theme, and this may not be the easiest fix, but I sincerely need to know how to resolve this problem. If it cannot be resolved, then PLEASE let me know so I can move forward with trying to find another option for my client. Your support has been great for the most part, but this issue is really starting to drive my client (and myself) crazy. Thanks in advance.

Hey Chris,

Thanks for getting back. The problem isn't with the menu shifting places, the problem for my client is that if you are viewing his site, and you change the size of the window, all of the background gallery content will shift, and if you narrow the window enough, all of the content will overlap with his menu on the left. He wants the pictures on the background gallery to NOT move when the window isn't full size.
This page is a perfect example (http://www.charlesthorpe.com/home/personal-portraits/) of how the content shifts when the size of the window is adjusted. I don't see this as a big problem, but my client doesn't see it that way at all. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey,

sorry for the delay. Are you running the latest version? I've just checked with my personal installation and the menu is always on top. If it still doesn't function you can try deactivating your plugins to see if they interfere.

Hello all,

I position fixed my sidebar with a margin and padding of 0 so my sidebar is on the upper left of my screen. This is what I want. But when I go to a page with a content block and a slideshow fullscreen behind it, my sidebar goes to the right with 50px. Why is that and how can change it so my sidebar is always at the left of the screen.

Thanks

Hey,

I've seen other users with this issue, Kriesi has been notified and a solution should follow.
