You can target any single page on your site by using its page id which is added as a class on that page. For the home, the class selector is .home so you could target the home page specifically with:

#top.home #main .container {
background-image: url(http://realestatelistings-toronto.ca/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Seving-Toronto-white.png);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-attachment: scroll;
background-position: 95% 10%;
background-color: #ffffff;
}

For another page you would do something like:

#top.page-id-44 .someotherclass {
color: #333;
}

where the page id for that specific page is 44.

Regards,

Hi Devin,

I did, but there's a problem. All the other pages are affected with the same adjustment, meaning the slideshows on other pages are "pushed" to the right.

I changed the padding-left. It seems I need a way to center the video on that page. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

----
Could you also tell me - using the code I posted in my original note above, how would you do that for only one page and not an entire site please?

-----
Thanks!

I'd like to make the header background (color F0F0F0) on the home page larger/deeper so it is aligned (in the center) with the Text / Area.

I'm trying to get a video to center on the home page of my site. Is there a code I can use to center it?

Failing that, I'm trying to add some text as an image to the right of the video fill the white space. I've figured out how to do it, except that of course it shows on all pages. Is there a way to add an image as I've done only on one page (home page).

The CSS I used is
#main .container {

Hi cristaken,

You'll want to look into a plugin for adding Cufon fonts to your site and then create a cufon font file with your custom font. See: http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Adding_Additional_Cufon_Fonts

Once you have the font created and loaded into your site, its just a matter of using a bit of css to change it but we would need to actual name of it all to provide that. Here is however the basics of it:
http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_font_font-family.asp

Try to add this code in your Quick CSS(located in Flagship > Theme Options > Styling) or custom.css (can be accessed via ftp located int wp-content/themes/flagship/css):

.hr {
margin: 0;
}

or, this one if the code above doesn't work:

.hr {
margin: 0 !important;
}

1) Yes, WordPress won't add new pages, categories, posts, etc. to the menu automatically. You need to use the menu manager (Appearance > Menus) to configure the menu manually. Make sure that the menu is connected to a "Theme Location" (dropdown option field on the left side) - otherwise WP will use a "fallback" menu function which displays all pages in the menu because no custom menu is assigned to the "main menu location".

2) Flagship does not come with a mega menu feature. I'll ask Kriesi to correct the instruction page/manual.

It seems that if I add a a new page, it gets added to the menu's but they don't show or need to be added via the appearance>menus area. I'm not sure how this is happening, there must be a setting I'm missing?

Also, I went through a video re: menus on the instruction page and it made reference to mega menus, but I don't see that option. Does that mean that it is not available with the Flagship theme?

My apologies, of course I work on this for hours and then as soon as I post I figure it out. Once I added in the featured media to the slideshow it worked properly. I thought the background image would work in isolation. Lesson learned!

I am trying to put a background image in the main header area - header background image.

I've copied what was done on the home page using the import dummy content. I've tried the image 930x930 and 9900x360 as I saw both those sizes referred to in the instructions index.html page.

The placement seems correct, but the image only shows partially.

I'm sure I've just missed something. I've made sure all the settings are identical to the Welcome! page created in the dummy text. My page is called "Welcome Ribfest" and is being developed on realestatelistings-toronto.com.

Interestingly, the image size of the "sun" landscape is 1000x650, not one of the image sizes mentioned in the instructions.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hi Daniel,

No, there isn't a way that the theme supports to change the background image along with the slideshow image. It's static for each page.

The image size used in the demo is 999x666px. You can adjust from there to get the quality you want.

Regards,

Hello,

Currently I'm using multiple slideshow images, and was wanting to create a layering effect by making use of the header background options.

Layering effect:
-> full stretch background image
-> PNG transparent slideshow image
-> button/text

Flagship default settings appear to only allow one header background image being applied per page.

Is there a way to allow the header background image to change with the rotation of the slideshow image?

Secondly what is the optimized image size for the background image.

http://www.cetatek.com

Thanks,
Daniel

Hi,

Yes there is. But you wont get the same effect as Sentence with sidebar alone, since on sentence it goes all the way up, unlike Flagship.

Please add the following css block to the bottom of the /css/custom.css file; OR to Quick CSS located in the admin area of Flagship > Theme Options > Styling ... the text area at the bottom of that page: I was going by this side bat on your site nellymoser.com /action-codes/scan-response-rates

.inner_sidebar.extralight-border h3.widgettitle {
color: wheat;
}
#top .inner_sidebar {
background-color: black;
color: wheat !important;
}

Yeh, I also like Flagship, cool skin in a class of its own.

Thanks,
