Hey!

It may take some time before you can tracking code works: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/google-analytics-ecommerce-tracking-on-working-with-woo-commerce

Hi Max,

The tracking field for the theme only adds in whatever code you put into it to the bottom of your site. So if it isn't tracking things correctly, there isn't any interference from the theme.

What you can try is to remove the tracking code from the Enfold option and instead add it to the WooCommerce settings. Or, you can follow the directions from your tracking code source and add the code directly into the footer.php file of the theme.

Regards,

Hi,
the google ecommerce tracking is not working. The normal tracking is.
I activated all Tracking Code Options and inserted the code into the Enfold Theme Options.
Do you know why this is not working? Is it a know bug?

Thanks, Max

Before I enabled the Flashlight theme my blog feed would have the image that was attached to the post above the entry. I have enabled the option in Flashlight, but it does not show up. I have a plugin that auto post from my Google+ account, so the photos are not hosted on my site.

Is there anyway I can get that photo to show up above every blog post on the feed? The blog is at http://kyleboyington.com/blog-2/

Hi,

I used WP Google Fonts for weeks for my titles & paragraphs when I've seen this morning that I could update the version and move to V3.1.
I thought it would better use with Wordpress 3.5.1.

On the contrary, all my titles (H1,H2 ...) are at the same size as paragraphs !

Do you what happened ? Should I paste a code in quick CSS ?

Hi

I got my google analytics set up, and inserted the code in the text box in the flashlight settings. However, now the code shows up on every page in what seems to be a random place. This is very noticable on the home page of my website. I am not using the crop and fill function on the background slider as I have a fair few portrait photos, hence you can see the full code if you hide the sidebar and content. Can you suggest how I can get rid of it showing other than get rid of the code all together?

Hi,

Well according to Google "Currently, AdSense publishers may place up to three AdSense for content units on one webpage. This includes a maximum of one 300x600 ad unit per page. You may also place a maximum of three link units and two search boxes on each webpage. You may place up to three link units on a page, in addition to the three standard ad units, and two search boxes. " Reference: http://support.google.com/adsense/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1346295#Google_ad_limit_per_page

Choices Theme has no restriction as to how many adsense blocks you place in your website. Just remember that you can't just paste that code into a Post or a Page since Wordpress restricts and filters most code tags for your protection (or any editor can just paste some javascript and take over your website).

Install http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/enhanced-text-widget/ plugin so that you can paste the adsense javascript into it and override the restriction in a widget.

and/or

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/adsense there are a bunch of plugins for adnsense on this page. Try a few and see if you like.

I'm trying to put more than one google adsense code on my site with no luck. One script works fine, but as soon as I add in a second it moves and cuts off the first and the second doesn't even show up. Is there any way to have more than one block of adsense code in the theme at once?

surroundingElement.attr("class","").addClass("error");
surroundingElement.prepend("<span class='error'>Please enter your email address</span>");

but it's not a perfect solution. I'll ask Kriesi to look into it though. For now you can use contact form plugins like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/contact-form-7/ or Formidable Free

Thanks Dude.

I have just put in a map using Google iFrame code and made an anchor link to the form in the introduction text on top of the page. Easy and simple... Hope the customer will like that too.

A question about the contact form. When visitors make a mistake in the form or don't fill in all the required fields, I only see the wrong/missing fields indicated by color. There are no messages like: "Please enter your name." and "Please enter a correct e-mail adress." etc. That is not really an accessible way of communicating with your visitors. People who are colorblind don't see these slight differences in color... :-(

How can these messages be build in?

Unfortunately that's not possible at the moment. You can use a contact form plugin like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/contact-form-7/ or Formidable. An alternative would be to hardcode the map into the template file but that's not user friendly. In this case open up includes/loop-page.php and replace:

if(isset($post->ID) && $contact_page_id == $post->ID) get_template_part( 'includes/contact-form' );

with:

if(isset($post->ID) && $contact_page_id == $post->ID) get_template_part( 'includes/contact-form' );

if(isset($post->ID) && $contact_page_id == $post->ID) echo 'my map iframe code';

and instead of "my map iframe code" insert your google maps iframe code.

Hi eaglehood,

That hook is actually used to dynamically pull in plugin code and things like that. Since you are manually adding it in, you will do so exactly where you want it.

If you want to put it above or near the search form, you are looking for:

get_search_form();

In the header.php. It still may require some css to position it correctly within the headers elements.

Regards,

Hello, since i don't want to use WPML - can you please tell me, where to add the php code of the qtranslate plugin in the header?

It looks like this: <?php echo do_shortcode('[gtranslate]'); ?>

I already tried to place it in the header.php where it says "hook for plugins such als WPML" but then i am not able to place it exactly above the search field (like the WPML style switcher).

Asking for a fast fix please. !!!

The brief documentation of the plugin is here: http://gtranslate.net/docs/56-wordpress-documentation

Thanks Dude,

With this code the order of content and form are being swapped. And no content can be placed anymore before the form...

On the contact page (for reference see development site at http://www.deroostct.nl/wordpress/contact-route/) my client wants (1) text, (2) contact form and (3) Google Maps; in that sequence.

How can that be done?

- Monique

PS: how can I get an automatic email message when a post has been replied?
