div #reviews #comments ol.commentlist li .comment-text {

Hi,
I want to remove the gravatar image from the product reviews. My users do not have gravatars and it slows the website.

http://www.tinteo.com/produit/casques-audio/aba-de-tinteo-casque-audio-a-reduction-active-de-bruit/

I cannot find where I can change that. I think I once saw somewhere where I could change the gravatar types but not remove it. Anyway I cannot find it anymore.
Best regards

Hi Devan,

I've added BBPress and was trying to get rid of the sidebar (was listing all pages, categories etc) but once I added in the BBPress widgets, it looks fine.

Hi drjill,

First, make sure you are using the most recent version of both the theme and bbPress. The old version worked on tables and may be the issue you are running into.

There isn't currently any guide by Kriesi for it but I'll add that to my list of guides to create.

It should be just a matter of installing the plugin in and activating it to get the basic same layout that the demo has with the sidebar and everything. The only other thing you should need to do is add the bbPress login widget to the Forums widget area.

Regards,

Hi,

I've looked through the documentation and these forums, others have asked, and yet I still haven't read proper documentation to set up a forum so it is like the Choices demo. I may be missing some basic step, but it isn't enough just to point us to the bbPress install guides (which are woefully under-documented).

I have installed bbPress. I have created a test forum and a couple of test topics. When I click "view" in a forum or a topic in the WP backend these bbPress pages are the full width of the browser window. So, I go and create a page, e.g. called "Forums" and add the shortcode [bbp-forum-index] - viola! I see the forum index on the page. However, now that I'm on the front-end page, if I click a forum or topic from the list of topics, the results come back full page width again - yuck. I can create a new page called "Forum One" and add the short code [bbp-single-forum id=$forum_id], and if I enter through the main nav bar I see a nicely formatted single forum topics list. But again, on the front-end if I click a topic on the list the results aren't formatted. I can create a new page and add a shortcode to display a specific topic, but that can't be right...

What, specifically, do we need to do to get the bbPress forums set up so they look just like the Choices demo (all forums, topics, posts, sidebars, etc)? I've spent hours trying to figure out what should be straight forward (and should be part of the theme documentation). Assume no prior knowledge! Please give us a step-by-step guide (with screenshots) showing us how to do it so we can move on with the other aspects of this great theme.

I'm excited to get this to work, just frustrated. thanks!

- Jill

Hey,

1.) In style.css (around line 1429) change this:

.personal_data p {
    float: left;
    width: 33%;
}

to this:

.personal_data p {
    width: 50%;
}

2.) This is a bug, but WP related rather than a fault of the theme. One solution would be to add client side validation to the theme (JS) so that the fields are checked and shows an error message if a required field is blank / not valid.

3.) Are you running Akismet? If not activate it, you'll see next to no spam. If you add a captcha, you'll avoid automated spam, but might still get human spam. You might see the opposite of the desired effect because captchas are really annoying...

First off, I love this theme! Very nicely done... I have a few questions/requests regarding the Comments section:

1. Is there a way to display the Name, Email. Website part of the comment submission form in a standard list instead of tabs? My comments have been reduced since switching to this theme and I'm wondering if the form needs to be more obvious?
2. In IE, if somebody doesn't fill in all the required fields, they are taken to an error page that doesn't allow them to go back to the form either through a link or through the browser... can this be addressed?
3. Finally, I noticed after switching themes that my SPAM comments are reaching about 100 per day, where before I had very few... is there a way to add a captcha or something to the comment form? I tried added a module, but that put the captcha field below the submit field, which is confusing and causes the error issue mentioned in 2.

Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

First let me say, awesome theme!
Now I'm an intermediate php/html/css programmer, but a wordpress noob.

How do the avatars work?!
I know that they are supposed to automatically link to the person's gravatar profile by email, but this isnt working for me.
This is also happening with the author information, where it justs gives a blank picture, although my email address is entered.

I haven't aletered with the code at all, and I see other users don't have the same problem. Why?

1) How can I fix this?
2) Is there a better solution than gravatar? Alternative?
3) Any plugins you would recommend that work well with them theme.

Thank you so much for your help.
