On the front pages template builder template, that is a page section that has a shortcode for tab content which is what those are.

1) Yes, just add a blog element to your home page (you can select your home page on the theme options page):

2) Tbh I'd really avoid to put the entire content of a post (including comment form, etc.) on the front/home page. It will very likely harm your search ranking/seo and it is very uncommon (thus will probably irritate users). If you still want to hire one you can try: https://codeable.io/ or http://www.freelancer.com/

Hey!

Unfortunately the comment form, etc. is not supported on the blog page. This would require a major rewrite of the blog & post templates. There's a blog/archive page which lists all entries and a single post page which displays the comment form and all functions which use the is_single() conditional (like your social icons, etc.).

Regards,

Thanks for this. I replaced as you suggested, but not getting full post with comments and social sharing.

I've tried different combos of settings, and this is what I currently have:

Enfold Theme Options: Front Page Settings = "Movement of the Week" page, "... display the Blog?" = "Select page"

Wordpress admin Settings > Reading: Front page displays = static page = "Movement of the Week", posts page= "Select"

Posts page "Movement of the Week" - used Avia editor and dragged "Blog posts" into content area

Hope this helps. Again my website is at http://dailyvitamoves.com

Hi!

No reason to be sad about it :) - font face fonts are more versatile and they don't cause this "flickering" on page load.

Personally I wouldn't use cufon fonts with Eunoia because it will break the responsive layout (cufon fonts won't scale when you change the screen size). I'd recommend to generate a font face kit here: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/tools/webfont-generator - then download the files, place the fonts into the wp-content/themes/eunoia/css/ folder and insert the css code from the font face kit into wp-content/themes/eunoia/css/custom.css.

PS - I'm using a child theme and I'd like to use my own layout.css. How do I get it to go to the child /css folder instead of the parent theme?

PPS - OH! I figured out how to use my own stylesheets by 1) copying euonia/css to child/css and 2) updating header.php to get_blognifo('stylesheet_directory') where it links to styesheets. Hope this helps someone else!

Hi I love Eunoia

I want to use the font Vegur LIght

I've used this plugin before

I have the cufon setting to this:
Cufon.set('fontFamily','Vegur-Light').replace('.entry-title')('h1.entry-title')('.entry-content h1')('.tagcloud a')('div.entry-content h2')('div.entry-content h3')('#container.stylefeature h2')('#container.stylefeature h3')('#top .post-title'('h1.post-title.dynamic-post-title'))

YOu can see I am trying to target the title on the home page

Nothing is working. I have the Eunoia Font settings to "none" no font chosen.

I have uploaded the font Vegur Light to the plugin/fonts directory

Hi guys,

This is an awesome theme. My client wants me to change the home page product slider to only go in 1 direction. I.e., he doesn't like the slider reversing back after all featured products have gone through the screen. I have my own jquery carousel script that I can implement but wanted to ask you first:
1. Is this possible within the current theme scripts
2. If not, can you give me some guidance on the files that control product slider so I can try and implement my slider code.

Thanks again

Hi saltyglo,

The demo uses a Mini content layout for the page designated as the Home Page.

You don't need to do #3 as the theme does that. The wordpress settings should be set to Display latest Blog post.

To hide the entire content on the home page alone, Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

#top.home .entry-content {
display: none;
}

How do I get my Home Page to have one static image + the menu? That's it. (Similar to the demo version.)

I had this figured out a few days ago (by reading other support threads related to this same issue), but now it's all messed up again, and I'm not sure what happened. Now I can't seem to fix it again.

Let me tell you what I have done so far:

1) Created a page and titled it "Welcome," added one picture to it's gallery, and set it's template as: no content.
2) Went to Flashlight Theme Options > Set the Front Page as my page called "Welcome"
3) Went to Settings > Reading > Set Front Page display to > Static, and set the page, again, to my page titled Welcome.

This is the problem: When visiting my Front Page (Home), it correctly shows the static image I wanted in the background, but it also shows the TITLE of that page, called Welcome. How do I get the title not to show?

Again, all I want on my Front Page (Home) is: a static background image and the left-side menu.

Can you help?

Here is a fix - do as I said above and put all pages not wanted in the nav in a 5th menu item in the main nav. Then add this to the style sheet.

.main_menu ul > li:nth-child(5) > a {
display: none;
}

If it is the 6th menu item then change to

.main_menu ul > li:nth-child(6) > a {
display: none;
}

etc etc

Hmmm, that solution isn't so cool after all as the trick also activates its active parent item which defeats the object.

Is there a way of making all other pages not meant to be in the main navigation live under their own parent (eg called "other") as, say, the 5th item in the main/primary menu and then hide that 5th item using fifth-child or something?

Maybe something like:

#top .main_menu .menu li ul li ul {
    display: none;
}

or

#top .main_menu .menu li ul li ul {
    visibility: hidden;
}

Hi

I have found that one way is to make sure that those pages are in the main navigation menu and if you put them into a third level/second child then they should be hidden from the main navigation as the theme only supports one child. The issue with this is that the third level/second child appears on rollover off to the right of the page in "no mans land" outside the main wrapper.

Perhaps a solution is to add code to hide the third level /second child?

Any thoughts if that is a good fix and how to do that?

I am using the Eunoia theme at http://www.truthfinding.co.uk. I was wondering if there was a way to get the sliding menu pointer (css class .menu_pointer) to slide under the navigation when first landing on the home page or a page that is not under the master navigation. ie. it works fine here http://www.truthfinding.co.uk/in-short-we-find-out-the-truth/ but doesn't slide into place here http://www.truthfinding.co.uk or when navigating to a page that is accessed from outside the main navigation eg. http://www.truthfinding.co.uk/contact-us/.

Thanks in advance
