You can use following css code to eg changethe color of the selected items. Add the code to css/custom.css or the quick css field:

.main_menu ul:first-child > li.current-menu-item > a, .main_menu ul:first-child > li.current_page_item > a {
   color: #eee;
}

Hi,

Currently, when a page on the main menu is selected, the menu item is bolded. I'd like to make it clearer for the user what page is being viewed. The little arrow is fine, but it doesn't show up on all browsers (IE). Any suggestion on how to create both a "hover" and an "on click" color change to the menu items? Thanks!

Hi Devin,

Thank you for your quick response.

I agree with your observations, the problem is that most of the visitors will naturally hover the images before the page finished loading (unless they have a very fast connection) and I can not ask them to reload the page ;-) My customer has been complaining about this and since it is on a popular platform (IE9) it is hard to defend.

Am I correct to assume that the position of the buttons are calculated based on the size of the image ? Would it be possible to temporarily hardcore those dimensions ? I would much appreciate if you could give me some direction on how I could correct this issue.

Best Regards,
Patrice

Hi Patrice,

I've just found this through another thread but I'm not sure if its something we can offer a fix. It seems that it only happens when you begin hovering over images before the page has finished loading. A simple refresh and waiting for everything to load gets rid of the issue.

I've reported it to Kriesi and if a fix is possible it will be deployed in a theme update.

Regards,

Hi,

I noticed a bug on the shop page of the abundance theme (confirmed by testing on the theme demo). When hovering the images in IE9 (Window 7 professional) sometimes the Add to cart and Show Details buttons are displayed incorrectly (see image : http://www.mediafire.com/?e9hjx82rhjv19ik). If I navigate to another page and come back the problem disappears.

Can you please suggest a solution to resolve this issue?

Thank you in advance,
Patrice

Thanks, I actually set the display instead of opacity before...This worked, except the opacity value should be 0 and not 1

Hi Fika,

You can use a css code to stop it from fading. Try adding this code in your Quick CSS or custom.css:

.lightbox_video, .lightbox_image, .image_overlay_effect, .image_overlay_effect_inside {
opacity: 1!important;
}

This way the opacity won't be changed. Hope this helps. :)

Best Regards,
Ismael

I am using my own css hover effects for my images, but there is still an opacity applied to the image elements everytime I roll over them. Think it might be prettyphoto?

Can I disable this altogether?

Or can i use some css to stop it happening?

When I roll over an image the element style it gets is

element.style {
    display: block;
    opacity: 0.6;
    z-index: 5;
}

The class that it is also reading from is

.lightbox_video, .lightbox_image, .image_overlay_effect, .image_overlay_effect_inside

thanks
