Hi adelhou,

Try to add this code ad the bottom of your style.css:

.alignright {
 float: right;
}

or, this code if the code above doesn't work:

.alignright {
 float: right !important;
}

Hope this helps. :)

I am having problems with the image alignment - and I have tried all the suggestions in other threads. Here is an example of a right img alignment, that doesn't work:

Hi Nathan,

The one with the issues is actually a different version of the theme (2.0.5 vs 2.0.2). So the style.css is slightly different.

You can change the style.css file where the alignleft and alignright classes are located to switch things back to how they were and it should fix it for you. From wordpress, go to Appearance>Editor and by default it should show your style.css available for editing. Search for:

.alignleft{
float:left;
margin:0px 15px 15px 0pt;
}

.alignright{
float:right;
margin:0px 0pt 15px 15px;
}

If you just search for one, the other is right below it right around line 872. Change those two styles to be:

#top div .alignleft{
float:left;
margin:0px 15px 15px 0pt;
}

#top div .alignright{
float:right;
margin:0px 0pt 15px 15px;
}

Then make sure to save (Update File) and that should do it. If you aren't able to edit the files because of a permissions issue, you'll need to do the same change via FTP. The style.css file will be in the main directory of the theme files.

Regards,

Good Evening,

I'm using Display 3 in 1 on all three of my websites. (I've purchased three copies of the theme, one for each site.) I've replicated the 'Terms of Use' webpage on all three websites using the same code (with the difference of the website name within the body of text). My newest website, StrategyDrivenAdvisoryServices.com is not aligning the images to the right as coded whereas the other two websites are (using the same code). All three websites are hosted by Bluehost and reside in different directory folders. The example 'Terms of Use' webpages can be viewed as:

StrategyDriven.com: http://www.strategydriven.com/about/terms-of-use/ (appears as it should)
StrategyDrivenProfessional.com: http://www.strategydrivenprofessional.com/terms-of-use/ (appears as it should)
StrategyDrivenAdvisoryServices.com: http://www.strategydrivenadvisoryservices.com/terms-of-use/ (image appears to the left instead of the right)

The image code, which is the same for each website, is as follows (brackets omitted to show actual code):

img border="0" width="425" height="282" class="alignright" src="http://www.strategydriven.com/wp-content/themes/strategydriven/img/Contract.jpg" style="padding-left: 10pt; padding-top: 0pt; padding-bottom: 0pt; padding-right: 0pt"/

Note that I've created several other webpages for the StrategyDrivenAdvisoryServices.com website and am unable to get any of the images to align to the right. I am consistently using the code, class="alignright" to set up the image alignment.

All of my websites are running on WordPress 3.4.1 and have the same active plugins. I just purchased, downloaded, and uploaded Display 3 in 1 to StrategyDrivenAdvisoryServices.com last evening (Wednesday, October 31) whereas the other versions were installed months (StrategyDrivenProfessional.com) or over a year (StrategyDriven.com) ago. The only modification made to Display 3 in 1 was to the Header (with your advice) to show the StrategyDriven corporate logo as text instead of an image.

Please note that the StrategyDrivenAdvisoryServices.com website is under construction and so you will see many of the default settings and images and undeveloped drop down menus, etc.

Any insight you can provide to help me align my StrategyDrivenAdvisoryServices.com images to the right is greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you need any additional information.

All the Best,
Nathan

Hi akeiser,

I think I found out the issue. IE8 isn't compatible with both a max width and height+width defined so we need to disable the max width for IE8. Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

.msie8 .entry-content a img {
max-width: none;
}

Okay, I figured out how to update the theme and am now running theme version 1.2.0. It is still doing the same thing. Here are two screen shots:

Thank you again! I appreciate your teaching me about the class="alignright/alignleft/aligncenter" The solution works perfectly!

Hey,
I've played around in firebug and the standard alignright class solves the poblem. I wouldn't use align="" because it's not w3c valid. I.e. this code will push the image to the right:

<img width="400" height="300" style="padding-left: 10pt; padding-top: 0pt; padding-bottom: 0pt; padding-right: 0pt" src="http://www.strategydriven.com/wp-content/themes/strategydriven/img/Editorial.jpg" class="alignright">

and this code to the left:

<img width="400" height="300" style="padding-left: 10pt; padding-top: 0pt; padding-bottom: 0pt; padding-right: 0pt" src="http://www.strategydriven.com/wp-content/themes/strategydriven/img/Editorial.jpg" class="alignleft">

Hello,

I'm having the same difficulty in aligning my image files. For better or worst, I've coded my image files with html code into my blog posts and pages in the format of: img src="http://www.strategydriven.com/wp-content/themes/strategydriven/img/Editorial.jpg" align="right" width="400" height="300" style="padding-left: 10pt; padding-top: 0pt; padding-bottom: 0pt; padding-right: 0pt"/ with the <> on either side (omitted so as to not show a picture).

While coded to align right, the image is aligning to the left. Please see: http://www.strategydriven.com/testwordpress/?p=5.

I am in the process of upgrading my blog to the Display 3-in-1 theme and would prefer not to recode the hundreds of images on the website using the Wordpress insert image mechanism and have chosen to not have an image title below each image. (I can't seem to eliminate these when using the insert image function.) I have tried adding the #top div. and the other style.css code as recommended but these do not solve the issue.

Please note that I have also tried to recode the align html command to align="alignright" but that did not work.

I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide to me.

All the Best,
Nathan

I getting unable to wrap text around an image when I combine <h> tags with an image. Each time I do my text is slid down below image.

You can see an example on my home page in the tabs section. The fourth tab is regular size. The font size is the only difference that I can see between the first three tabs and the last one. Maybe someone sees an answer.

Here is a link to the page to see the issue: http://termlifequoteny.com/

Thank you
