Thank you for your answer, BUT...

Unfortunately, this is not just because I've read on the forum this problem.
High-resolution image is uploaded to the client sees your lame.
Simple Image Size is not an option for me, I tried.
If you could see what I upload a picture, the girl (cap) eyes did not focus, in the original image. Uploaded look very bad.
The core theme of the flash light is not working well.

Hi Kristóf ,

It sounds like you just need to use larger images since they will stretch to fit the size of the screen.

Hi Devin,
I wrote you a mail some days ago... but no answer. The problem still here but in part looks is solved.

In office we updated our iPhones OS to iOS6 and the problem disappear… It remain on iOS 5.1.1 … So is a problem related with scale or image resolution on the old iOS.

At this time I think we can consider the main problem solved…? Let me know.

Hi thearslan,

Can you post a link to your site showing the image(low quality) inside the column shortcode? so we can check further.

For your portfolio items sorting, the code Peter had given should work, here is another thread with the same topic and uses the same theme: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/portfolio-sorting-2

Try disabling all other plugins, and check if the code works.

Add following code to functions.php (at the very bottom):

function loop_portfolio_query( $location )
{
 if ( $location == 'loop-portfolio' )

Can you provide a link to your website please? I'd like to investigate the css code. Probably we can fix this by adding a width/height attribute to the image.

hi,
I am using short codes to build home page but when I insert an image in to it image got bad quality, where I am using a high quality image.
For example

<h2>Two columns</h2>
[one_half first]
Paragraph text here[/one_half]

[one_half]

[/one_half]

so you can see in this code I am using image in 2nd half of column but image is getting blur and low quality, can you tell me how can I get good quality image in that short code?

I tried outside of the code and image was fine and good quality but in shortcode it is low. So kindly guide me as soon as possible

Thanks

Can you add one of the images being used on the choices slideshow to your Flagship site and test it?

I believe its actually just the images and the way they are scaled down that is the issue and not anything the theme is doing.

Hi Devin,
thank you for your answer. At this time I’m using iOS 5.1.1

1.	Regenerate thumbnails – I made this before to write on the forum
2.	I use WPML plug-ins and I prefer to not deactivate it… I’m afraid to have some trouble when I will reactivate it…

Is this with iOS6? Which iPad as well?

Just to clear up any outside issues, make sure you have no plugins active and then install and use this plugin to regenerate all your theme wide image files: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

If you can send me the link I can forward it on to Kriesi if the issue persists since I believe he is the only one who has an iPad for testing right now.

You can send the information to my email at DevinVinson (at) gmail.com. Make sure to include a link to this topic so that my spam filter doesn't grab it :)

Hi Devin,
thanks for your reply! I think I was a bit unclear, sorry for that.

The problem is not related to the font (or the caption text) but only on the quality of the bitmap images. My Slide is a 990x556 px dimensions and tested in png+jpg format. On iPad with retina display the bitmap image looks not so bad, but on the iPhone is extremely pixelated.

I suppose that 990x556px is enough for the iPhone Retina display.

I can’t make public the link now (is a upcoming Event) but you can send me a email at suspect (at) casiersouze (dot)com I will send you the link of the site if you want take a look at it.

Again any help is welcome ;)

Hi Caiser,

Can you take a look at this font on your iPhone and see if it looks the same (pixelated) http://www.google.com/webfonts/specimen/Open+Sans

If so, its just the way Google renders the font for iPhone and you'll need to use a Web Save font instead of a google font (or just another google font) for the headers.

Is this also happening for your images? If so, you may just need to use larger and better quality images so that they appear better.

Regards,

Devin

Hi, I’m a bit lost.
Using Choices 1.6.0 I notice with the responsive layout active my images (with graphic) looks terrible on iPhone. The first load look perfect and after some millisecond it downsize the quality and the image look ultra pixelated and simply horrible to look.

This experience is the same with the theme demo here at kriesi.at. You will se perfectly the issue with the first slide the text “Flying Caption” will look ultra pixelized …

This didn’t happend on Falgship theme for example…

Any help will be super appreciated.

Caiser

(sorry for my bad english...)
