I've been having trouble trying to update the socket/copyright text in the theme. I've looked in all the theme options but do not see it. I'd really like to avoid altering the php code in the editor.

Where am I missing this in the theme option settings?

Thanks!

Hi,

Please provide a URL to the location where this event is taking place. Since there are so many ways to customize this theme, there is no sure way for us to know that we are dealing with the same built. Also a number of updates have already been released for the theme, and we can not be sure what version you are using.

Your best bet is to mask the link using http://www.goo.gl . Please also take a screen capture of the page and point out what you need done using tools available on imgur.com or other free image hosts. A screenshot by itself though will still not help since we need to look at the source code in order to provide a meaningful solution.

Thanks,

Nick

Hi,

No sidebar is the same as full width since something that's full width has no sidebar.

1) Create the dynamic template. select no sidebar (aka full page) and add a slider to it while selecting from which page the slider should come from http://www.clipular.com/c?5386124=Rd3ciFB0VvFE6kDT6sWDU5NyrKs&f=.png

2) Add template you just created to a page. Add some images, select full slider option and select one of the three slider types, fade, etc... and - you have a full page slider.

I just did that and got a full page slider http://www.clipular.com/c?5386125=2sZXAJK7-usXlM52A9cq3b0GrNQ&f=.png

Yes, I have tried that as well. Same result. The options appear to be different when you create a new template in the template builder. The page layout choices for a new page are: left sidebar, right sidebar or no sidebar. However when you look at the template options for "front page" the options are left sidbar, right sidebar or full width. Perhaps this could be part of the issue?

Hello,

It seems the only way I can get the slider to work in Full Width is to set the layout to default. When using "Frontpage" is not a full width slider, nor when using a layout I created, can I set it to full width slider. The images load -but not full width. Please give step by step instructions for doing this.

Also, images that are loading in columsn -that are created exactly the same size, are loading in different sizes when set to "preview Image only". What is the cause of that?

Hi jakedohm,

The browser determines what a user does with an mp3 file. The theme's only add-on/plugin type feature for the sermons is to put them into the player so that they can be be controlled by the user from the sermon(s) page.

There are some solutions available to force certain file types to download on the users end but they are out of our area of support.

Is there a way to add link to directly download the linked audio for a sermon? As you will see I've set one up that goes to the audio file, but it doesn't go to direct download. Is there a way for it to automatically start downloading? I thought you guys should have a plugin or something.

Regarding the theme update, on most themes in the past when I go to upload the new ZIP file with the theme contents, it will prompt me if this is a theme update. If I simply upload this file via WP Theme Uploaded, will I lose any edits made to .php, .css files? What about the customizations done through the theme options? Is the only way to accomplish this through FTP???

Can you try updating the theme files. You can download the most recent version of the theme from Themeforest and then installing the theme just like you first did. That will bring it up to 1.1 (the version 1.5 it currently shows was a typo in the initial release).

Hi kbenford,

Go to the Contact page in your wordpress admin and see if that text is there (not the live page, the page editor for that page). Make sure to also check the Excerpt field on the page you have designated as the contact page as well.

Regards,

Hi

I made changes to the home page of our church, http://oambc.com
The problem that I'm having is that I made changes to the text on the contact page http://oambc.com/contact
but it isn't showing up on the homepage. The homepage is showing greek text as introductory text. That text isn't present on the contact page.

Please help.
