Yes, you can use css media queries - i.e. following code:

@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
	.title-span{display:none;}
}

would just affect screens with a minimum resolution of 768px - you can change/adjust this value and set it to eg 1024px, etc.

I tried that, did not help. I also tried a clean wordpress and a clean theme install but all without success, until I decided to wipe the entire root folder and reinstall wordpress, then re-install the theme and afterwards re-adding my plugins and posts from my back-up. And now the site is back up and running. I don't know what exactly caused the problem but I know it happened simultaneously with saving changes in the theme-framework of both propulsion and eunoia. But a said now it saves without a problem and site is back up and running.

Another question is it possible to write something in the custom.css saying that it should not overwrite layout.css when a mobile device is browsing the site?

Please check your allocated memory value ( http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP ). I'd set it to 128M because then you're on the safe side even if you're using many third party plugins, etc.

Dear,

I was changing some settings in the theme settings (propulsion) and when I saved the settings I got this error:

The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.ampersandphotography.eu/. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this webpage later.
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

From that point on my site was unavailable. I was able to get my site back up and running by changing the name of the theme-folder via FTP. I retried activating the theme but got the same problem, this was with propulsion and eunoia.

I restored my root to an earlier back-up and everything worked again ... until I tried to save some changes in the theme settings. I have never had this before with propulsion or corona and it is even with the new theme eunoia. So I am completely clueless at this point and would really like to start setting-up my site in the new theme.

Sincerely,
Nick

thanks, just seen your post, Kriesi.

I figured it out yesterday ... this phenomenon was caused by the most annoying plugin ever :-(, by WPML multilanguage plugin.

When it's activated, then these strange paths are shown in CORONA:

http://i42.tinypic.com/2vkhqth.jpg

When I deactivate it, all is ok.

The WPML plugin for example causes, that CORONA don't work with domainmapping, too :-(
I've posted this issue in the WPML forum, too, but they are very unhelpfully there and answer always, that it works at their servers ... how nice for them :-(

Okay. The problem only really happened when I tried to place my saved custom menu as the main navigation.

I disabled all my plugins (which were only the default plugins, bbPress, and WooCommerce)

I activated them one by one to try and isolate the problem. The Internal Server 500 error only happens when WooCommerce is enabled. Either I have to deactivate WooCommerce and place my custom menu, or I have to forfeit my ability to save and activate custom menus.

Any idea of why this might be? The site is currently on sandraannsanchez.com if you want to take a look at it. I really feel like I'm missing something simple! Everything is up to date.

Hey,
the 500 error is very general and doesn't tell us what causes the problem. Please make sure that no plugins trigger this error and that your server runs with PHP 5.2.x. Try to increase the allocated php limit to 128mb (see http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP ).

I'm using Propulsion and I uploaded the dummy content. The second I uploaded a logo, saved, and refreshed the site, it gave me the error 500 Internal Server Error. When I try taking the logo away, it does the same. Not sure how to fix this, please help.

Hi,

I use WP as multisite installation with several subblogs in subdirectories with 4 or 5 of Kriesi's themes. These subdirectories are mapped to domains.
All internal site links in all Kriesi-themes behave in the same way (for example Newscast), but only CORONA behaves strange concerning the internal link URLs' paths, for better explaining please take a look at the screenshot:

http://i42.tinypic.com/2vkhqth.jpg

Only the "read more"-link at the frontpage below the blog previews behaves right: it shows the right link when hovering over it = the mapped domain, here: subdomain http://studio.viaina.de/...

All other links in main navigation, in subnavigation or when hovering over the blog post previews at the frontpage show the wrong URL viaina.de/studiosite2/..., that means they show the path to the subdirectory, instead of the right PATH to the mapped domain studio.viaina.de/....

When I go to my subblog using NEWSCAST for example, then all internal links - when hovering them in that way - show the right path URL: http://der-kunstblog.de/... and not my subdirectory http://viaina.de/neuerkunstblog/...:

http://i41.tinypic.com/21k9h91.jpg

This is also right in all my other sub-blogs and its mapped domains. If I disable all plugins and use the TwentyEleven theme, that I have mapped to a subdomain, then all internal blog links show by hovering the exactly this mapped subdomain and NOT the path to the created subdirectory of this sub-blog. So I guess, it's an issue of CORONA.

Note: when clicking these links, they work indeed right and are redirected to the correct path, so the mapping for itself works right.

But the user should not see my subdirectories, but only the subdomain, when hovering over the links!

The "read more"-Links in CORONA are obviously coded right, but all other links (navigation etc.) are obviously coded in such way, that hovering them, the mapping has no effect, only when you click it. But my subdirectories are my private concern and nobody else's business :-)

What have been coded in CORONA in another way as all other Kriesi's theme (for ex. Newscast), that causes this effect?
Thanks for any idea!
