Hi,

Give it a unique css selector like "iframeee"

<iframe class="iframeee" src="https://www.google.com/maps?f=q&source=embed&hl=en&geocode=&q=Gladstone+Hotel,+1214+Queen+Street+West,+Toronto,+Ontario,+Canada&aq=0&oq=Gladstone&sll=43.656877,-79.32085&sspn=0.662697,1.448822&ie=UTF8&hq=Gladstone+Hotel,+1214+Queen+Street+West,+Toronto,+Ontario,+Canada&t=m&ll=43.64279,-79.426829&spn=0.006295,0.006295&output=embed" height="350" width="425" frameborder="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>

Then add this on your custom.css

.iframeee {
width: 425px !important;
height: 350px !important;
}

When embedding a google map iframe, the code is getting inline height and width styles dynamically added to them. I believe this has to do with the slideshow video javascript that makes sure that video slides get resized. The problem is that it is making our maps look really short. If you look in the generated code below you can see that javascript is adding an inline style height and width which is not in the actual source code.

Why is this and how can we just embed a normal google map on a page without the script trying to resize it?

'<iframe src="https://www.google.com/maps?f=q&source=embed&hl=en&geocode=&q=Gladstone+Hotel,+1214+Queen+Street+West,+Toronto,+Ontario,+Canada&aq=0&oq=Gladstone&sll=43.656877,-79.32085&sspn=0.662697,1.448822&ie=UTF8&hq=Gladstone+Hotel,+1214+Queen+Street+West,+Toronto,+Ontario,+Canada&t=m&ll=43.64279,-79.426829&spn=0.006295,0.006295&output=embed" height="350" width="425" frameborder="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" scrolling="no" style="width: 1249px; height: 54.123152922823586px;"></iframe>'

LayerSlider is a third party plugin ( http://codecanyon.net/item/layerslider-responsive-wordpress-slider-plugin-/1362246) and as soon as the plugin author releases a new version we'll also include it. For now LayerSlider is compatible with jQuery 1.8.x and afaik 1.9 which is required for WP3.6.

LayerSlider: old jQuery issue It looks like you are using an old version (1.10.1) of the jQuery library. LayerSlider requires at least version 1.7.0 or newer.

Then it's not possible without editing woocommerce.php because the $this variable refers to the class instance and theoretically other developers can create hundreds of new instances with hundreds of new hooks/actions...

add_action( 'wp_print_scripts', array( $this, 'check_jquery' ), 25 );

comment out this line and jQuery is unhooked, but this is a little tiring for I have to do it after every plugin update.
Any idea how to unhook jQuery with theme functions.php file?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. The height attribute starts out as auto and then changes to a specific amount. Not the other way around. Either way the height shouldn't have any effect on the inside contents links.

You can force however with:

#top.woocommerce-page ul.products .product {

Hi there,

I already turn off the jquery and put some custom css - like this case http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/disable-mouse-hover-actions-on-product-images
It's work fine, but I found an issue:

When I hover on product image (I look on my browser source), it's effect a jquery that tell style="height:auto;"
This is make me can't click on the product, and I must double click on product image to open the product

If you don't understand what I explained, please go here : http://markandhans.com/product-category/women
Try to click on product (JUST 1 CLICK), you will get no response. Then try to click other product, and there is nothing happen.

Don't get it? Okay, now try to do this
1. Click on the image of product once (just once click)
2. Then click again on the same product image (this make you able to go inside the product details page)
3. So this is a bug for me, the user must click twice to open the product details

NOTES
I already turn off the jquery from avia.js

//activates the hover effect for image links
//if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_hover_effect)
//jQuery(container).avia_activate_hover_effect();

Hi I am having some issues with my date picker found in the "Delivery Details" section on this form: http://restinchairs.com/quote/rental/

When you click the field, the JQuery date picker displays properly but will dones not record input. On the right side of the field there is an up/down arrow set and then a single down arrow (neither should be there). The up/down arrow set displays the proper date picker same as if you click any where else in the field. The single down arrow displays a different date picker (no idea where this one is coming from) but this is the only one that will actually allow you to input a date.

I recently posted on another thread (http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/theme-update-creating-conflict-with-plugin) about a different problem I was having with this form. It turned out to be a duplicate JQuery file that needed to be removed. Could something similar be causing this problem?

I'm getting a few errors still but the big one is that it doesn't look like timthumb is able to run (which re-sizes your images).

You can try contacting your hosting provider and see if they have the timthumb script disabled or blocked. Additionally, if you use an image that is exactly 940px by 420px it shouldn't need to run at all.

It may also be something else as trying to pull up the image directly gives a 404 page:

http://www.solacermt.ca/wp-content/themes/display/files/test2.jpg

So double check that you have the image path entered in correctly.

Regards,

Hi atnetsolutions,

Can you put the slider back to the jquery slider once again?

Also disable any plugins you have active when you do that just in case something is causing a conflict.

Regards,

Hi atnetsolutions,

It looks like the wp-content/themes/display/images/slider_imgs folder may not be writable. You need to set the file permissions to 755 or 777. You can do this with any FTP client software. Hope this helps. :)

Regards,

Hello,

I am wondering why the jquery slider isn't working?

The flash slider works fine. I have tried it with the xml file and the slider manager...any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi Job,

It could be a plugin calling it in wp_head but I can't say for sure without inspecting the site live. Even then it would only be a guess if the source gives a hint on where and why its getting loaded into the head.

Regards,

Hi Job,

In your header.php you can remove this block of code:

<?php

	/* add javascript */
	wp_enqueue_script( 'jquery' );
	wp_enqueue_script( 'avia-default' );
	wp_enqueue_script( 'avia-prettyPhoto' );
	wp_enqueue_script( 'avia-html5-video' );
	wp_enqueue_script( 'avia-fade-slider' );

	/* We add some JavaScript to pages with the comment form
 * to support sites with threaded comments (when in use).
 */
	if ( is_singular() && get_option( 'thread_comments' ) ) { wp_enqueue_script( 'comment-reply' ); }

?>

Then add that into the footer.php instead. Otherwise most things (plugins etc) load in their javascript via the wp_head hook so you may still get plugins loading in javascript there.

Regards,

Dear Kriesis,
I would like to move the jquery-script from header into footer. I've tried all the workarounds I found in the www. But nothing works. Is WP3.5 the problem or the shoutbox-framework? Could you please help?
Thanks a lot and best regards
Job

Hi!

I'd insert it into angular/js/avia.js - at the top you'll see the document.ready function and I'd insert the code after it. Don't forget to clear your browser cache.

Best regards,
Peter
