Hi Brent,

You can check it on your site now. :)

In your portfolio item I just changed the Apply link to the image? from Embed Video when image is clicked to Link Manually (just like how you've set it before). Placed your vimeo link and changed https to http (this is what caused the lightbox issue).

I changed your video link from: https://vimeo.com/xxxx to http://vimeo.com/xxxx

Regards,
Ismael

Ismael,

Though the tinyurl "works" it's not what I was looking for. I'd like the videos to open in the lightbox much like the videos in my homepage do. Therefore, when I put the videos as "link manually", I still get that turning wheel. What I want to know, is why does it not work like it does in my homepage?

Hello,

When I select the "Link Manually" option under "Add Featured Media" in either a post, page or portfolio section it won't play the movie.

For example, I'll put in a Vimeo link. Save the page. View the page and then when I click on the thumbnail that is linked to the said Vimeo page, I get a white box with a turning wheel that never ends. It doesn't seem to want to load. However, if I right click the thumbnail and chose open in a new tab or window, it opens the link on problem. There seems to be something wrong with my light box.

You can go to:

http://www.brentbarbano.com/work

and click on Twitwits...the other thumbnails are under a different setting and therefore should not be compared to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

-Brent

Never mind. I finally figured out that Display's menu manager is really for use with Wordpress pre-3.0
thanks,

Sorry for the slow reply to this. I lost track of it....

The problem I am having is that I want to use the custom Menu Manager that is built into the Display theme. I specify "Enter a link manually", enter the URL, but how can I specify target=_blank?

I want to use the custom menu manager because I want the descriptive text under each menu item.
Thanks!

Hey,
1)create a custom menu item in your menu manager (under appearance > menus)

2)Then have a look at this page: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/i-want-that-external-links-links-to-other-websites-open-in-a-new-windowtab

I am using the Display theme. Love it. From the Menu Manager, I want a menu item to link to a page in a new browser tab. How can I do this?
Thanks!
