Hi karenmsoto,

It looks like you found a way to do it but don't add anything to the themes css files. Any custom css should be added to the Quick CSS in the Styles tab of the theme options or the custom.css file in the css folder of the theme files. This will let you easily update the theme in the future.

Regards,

It looks like when you inserted the logo, using the button, you may have chosen the thumbnail size on accident. Remove the logo from the theme options (just hit the red x). Then use the image url that you've already uploaded in that field and save:

http://tailoredbystephenb.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/TBS.png

That is the direct url to the image.

OK thanks Devin. What about px size for the logo? I'm sorry, I wasn't clear in my last post but that's what I was referring to when I said that I created an image that is 200px by 100px.

You add widgets in the Appearance>Widgets area. The widget area will be labeled "Shop". You just drag and drop the widgets to it there.

For all products you should use images that are at least 450x450px. That will give you clear and non-pixelated images.

I'm able to connect now, but the pages are showing no results for the post types.

Just to be clear, you can't use a template builder template for the main shop page. The shop is determined by woocommerce and the theme. So when you set the page that holds the shop in the woo commerce settings>pages, that page will then display the shop.

If you also add a template to that page, it won't have any effect.

Hi pwsanders,

Woocommerce will overwrite any template made with the template builder and attached to a page. The sidebar for the shop page is only set via the Appearance>Widgets and Sidebar:Shop Overview widget area.

Both of the links above are giving me 404 errors so I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for.

For some reason I cant remove the default sidebar on the shop page. When I add my own widget area (via the template builder) it shifts over the default area and leaves space for my custom sidebar but nothing appears even though I've added widgets.
Here is a link to the page: http://tailoredbystephenb.com/?post_type=product

I want it to look like my sub pages, here is a link: http://tailoredbystephenb.com/?page_id=75

Lastly, I added the product filter to the sidebar underneath the navigation but its not appearing for some reason. Any help is appreciated, thanks a lot.

Hi again Ismael.

One more time... :)
So I have modified the header area of my site with assorted CSS & HTML. If you would please look at my site you will see that I am using the Wordpress "title" & "slogan" code from you and it works fine. I have added a 110x110 image that I would like to be used as the "logo" image from the Wordpress settings. You will see that it is wrapped in it's own div and it is not in the
tag. This HTML code is located in the header.php file. What I need from you if you can is the php code for just the logo image to be added to my "logoimage" class without effecting the title and slogan.

http://finecolorgems.com/template1/

Thank you again for your help! You guys are great!

You can use the h1.logotext class to style the title.

Thank you again,

Hello,

Open framework > php > function-set-avia-frontend.php and find this code

if(!function_exists('avia_logo'))
{
	/**
 * return the logo of the theme. if a logo was uploaded and set at the backend options panel display it
 * otherwise display the logo file linked in the css file for the .bg-logo class
 * @return string the logo + url
 */
	function avia_logo($use_image = "")
	{
 $use_image = apply_filters('avia_logo_filter', $use_image);

 if($logo = avia_get_option('logo'))
 {
 $logo = "";
 $logo = "
<a href='".home_url('/')."'>".$logo."
";
 }
 else
 {
 $logo = get_bloginfo('name');
 if($use_image) $logo = "";
 $logo = "
<a href='".home_url('/')."'>".$logo."
";
 }

 return $logo;
	}
}

Replace it with this code

if(!function_exists('avia_logo'))
{
	/**
 * return the logo of the theme. if a logo was uploaded and set at the backend options panel display it
 * otherwise display the logo file linked in the css file for the .bg-logo class
 * @return string the logo + url
 */
	function avia_logo($use_image = "")
	{
 $use_image = apply_filters('avia_logo_filter', $use_image);

 if($logo = avia_get_option('logo'))
 {
 $logo = "";
 $logo = "
<a href='".home_url('/')."'>".$logo."
";
 }
 else
 {
 $logo = get_bloginfo('name');
 $logo = "
<a href='".home_url('/')."'>".$logo."
";
 $description = get_bloginfo( 'description' );
 $description = "
".$description."
";
 }

 $output = $logo;
 $output .= $description;

 return $output;
	}
}

Now, on your custom.css, you can do something like this.

#site-description {
	position: absolute;
	bottom: 80px;
	left: 5px;
}

Regards,
Ismael

Hi, just getting started but quite impressed with the theme. Great job!

Is there a way in the dashboard to not use a logo image? I would like to use the Wordpress Title & Slogan.

Thank you!
