Thanks Devin, I may have solved the problem myself thanks to your help. I resized the logo in photoshop and adjusted the Quick CSS that your provided. It's not the sharpest image, but I think with some size/CSS tweaking I can get sharpen the media file and make it work. if you care to look, http://www.irishimportshop.com/blog - of course if you have any further suggestions that owuld be great too. Best.

In regards to the SWF in the header, for now I'd like to just add a welcome message to the logo graphic, which makes the logo twice as wide. now 400 x 802 width .png. How must I alter the CSS in order to accommodate this Devin? or is there a better solution? Currently my 402x402 logo works fine with the above CSS adjustment you offered, hope we can repeat this success ... thanks again. Andrew

Hi Andrew,

You would need to have a freelance developer add in the additional swf or gif in the header. It needs to keep cross browser support as well as cause no responsive issues which is a bit beyond what we can assist with via support.

Right now the only thing keeping your header the large size is the logo. So you can either reduce the size of your logo or Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

#header .logo img {
height: 200px;
}

Regards,

I've managed something else and tried another design for my logo. It was less complicated this way and I'm pleased with it.
AnywayI keep in mind that code which could be very useful in the future.

We can consider this thread as resolved. Thanks!

Hi,

You're right, I don't like it :-(
As you can see on the picture, ok I could increase the size logo but the space where the logo is contained has also increase so it goes on my slider.
The header size was perfect at the begining and the fact it reduces when scrolling down, I love it and want to keep it. I just want to increase a little bit the size of my logo.

What can we do?

Hi,

What code did you use to increase the size of the log?

This is what I did, I uploaded a fairly large logo 300x200px then I add this on my custom.css

.logo a {
height: 200px;
}

.logo {
width: 300px;
height: 200px;
}

.fixed_header #header {
position: fixed;
height: 200px;
}

#header_main {
border: none;
}

Adjust the width height depending on your logo. I'm not sure if you will like how it looks when you scroll down.

Regards,

Hi,

My logo appears too small with 200 x100. So I want to increase the size of the logo on Enfold.
I found a topic on this forum telling to add a css code to quick css. I tried it and the size of my logo increased but the problem is that because I use the "small fixed header" the logo won't decrease automatically when scrolling down...

How can I fix it?

I'm working on localhost so I can't send you a link to show you...

Hi,

Checking your website again, I think you manage to decrease the header height. What did you do?

You can use shortcodes to insert the slider. Something like this [layerslider id="1"]. Go to LayerSlider WP, you can find what shortcode to use beside the slider name.

Now the fixed header doesn't resize and I'm left with a big white space under the header. Also, how can I add the layerslider without using the advanced layout builder? When I place the layer slider shortcode in the code it gives me white space on top, because it is placing it in the content.

The logo you have set there is not the full size, its using: http://www.aerospeedracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Logo-AeroSpeedRacing-Very-Small-150x70.png

Try using the url for the actual logo instead of hitting upload in the theme options:

http://www.aerospeedracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Logo-AeroSpeedRacing-Very-Small.png

1) You can see it on my site http://www.aerospeedracing.com. The logo looks like cropped one.

2) Ok, I'll Try.

And one more question. Why the images on my site http://www.aerospeedracing.com look like that? I mean, it seems like images are forcibly stretched. Is it possible to make them look normal? Thank you

Hi zameright,

1) We would need to see that logo size added in live to offer possible solutions.

2) You would need to copy over that set of styles from the dark style css to the modern skin css. It will be a good bit of manual copy+paste and a little bit of trial and errors depending on how familiar you are with css but the two files are both located in the themes css folder.

Regards,

Devin

Hi,

I have 2 questions related to site's appearance :
1. How can I put 223x90 logo perfectly? I tried to modify style.css but it still doesn't work.
2. How can I have "Newscast - Dark" navigation menu style ('Second') on "Newscast - Modern" skin? Is it possible to have this one?
This is my URL http://www.aerospeedracing.com maybe it would ease you to identify my points.
Finally, thanks for your attention,

Regards,

Hi!

No (at least not "out-of-the-box"). However there's some kind of work around which I posted here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/sliderpost-work-around

Best regards,
Peter

Thank you so much!!! You are a genius.

I have one more question:
Is there a way to keep the top main slideshow in place and change out those pictures periodically... instead of with each new post?

You can change the height with following code - add it to the bottom of style.css:

#top #head .logoimg, #top #head .logoimg a, #top #head .logoimg a img {
    height:100px;
}

Maybe you need to push down the main content area a bit - you can use following code (add it to style.css):

#wrapper_main {
    padding-top: 20px;
}

Obviously you need to adjust both values based on your requirements - if the logo height increases you also need to increase the padding top value.
