Hi Matthew,

If you have the option to disable the images for that plugin you could then manually add them in. Alternatively, you could edit the image output in the plugin.

As for how to do this,we can't offer support for third party plugins directly so you would need to check with the plugin author.

Regards,

They are manually inserted, but the the podcast episodes are automatically put in there by powerpress. I can't really do anything about those. so all the videos are showing like you see them on the page now.

Does anyone know if you can change the way the images show up in the posts on the main page? When it automatically puts them in it doesn't scale them down and they look terrible. My only work around till now was to make sure i didn't put an image before the break. However, we are now posting video podcasts and when they show up on the main page you only get a fraction of what's really there. I can't find any settings in the clean-cut options.

our site: http://oakridgebiblechurch.com

you can see what i mean right on the main page at the bottom.

You can try to increase the number of posts by editing cleancut\framework\classes\kclass_display_box.php. Open up the file and replace:

Hi, I want to have a widget as my fourth item on my main page: http://test.singularsoftware.com/

As soon as I add it, the widget bumps below the 1st column. This doesn't happen if I select a page, however, the problem with the page is that I get the automatic "read more" button which I don't want.

Can you let me know either:
1. How to prevent mainpage column 4 from bumping down under mainpage column 1 (when saved as a widget), or
2. How to remove the "read more" button if I select a page (without impacting the read more buttons in posts in my blog)?

Thanks.

Hello,

Go to Cleancut Options > Mainpage Options then on Mainpage Columns, just populate the 4 columns with post and select the category that you want.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

After setting the first column to populate posts I only get 1 post on the homepage. So how can I have more then one post for a category?
I tried to use a widget instead but the post setting keeps showing up on the homepage instead of the widget.

I've just checked the site again and there's nothing I can do.
The only option I see is to reset the /home version with a plugin like wordpress reset.
It works fine with a clean installation so there must be something wrong in the Database. It's not one of the plugins.

Excuse me for the inconvenience.

One unique thing I thought of:

I had to do a workaround to get something like a splash page working.

My mainpage is set to route to a /home page. Settings> Reading>
Frontpage: "SC" (Routes to hbcallentown.org/sc)
Posts page: "Home" (Routes to hbcallentown.org/home)

This is so that when you type in hbcallentown.org it routes you first to hbcallentown.org/sc instead of /home.

Changing the Twicet blog settings doesn't affect anything either. I've messed with a few different configuration of the Settings> Reading page but can't get past the mainpage displaying ALL posts instead of limiting it to one category.

Thanks, RR

My settings are the same, and I've tried all kinds of variations.

Disabled all plugins.

It seems as if it's not being limited at all by the category filter. Would you like login info?

Hi,

I'm not sure what could be causing this. I tried replicating your problem but it works fine for me. My settings are:

Mainpage options:
Twicet Starting Page Image Slider
The imageslider is populated through one or more post categories of your choice:
Category: Featured

I created several posts with only the category Featured and others with different categories. It worked fine, same goes for the thumbnails. Did you install any plugins? If so, try deactivating them and see if this solves anything.

For some reason, even though I have set it to show only posts cat "featured," the slider is pulling every post. I have two categorized as "Pictures" and it's showing the post title and no image (but I don't want it to show at all.)

http://www.hbcallentown.org/home

Also, the little triangle to show what thumbnail you're on doesn't stop moving. Sometimes it moves a couple thumbnails a second, like it's trying to "catch up" to where you are or something. I'm using Chrome for Mac.
