Hey,
it's also included in index.php (wp-content/themes/avisio/index.php). All files we mention here are located in the theme folder because adjusting the core files isn't recommended and only necessary in rare cases.

Thank you. There are 15 index.php documents in my wordpress folder. I did find the one that had this code and removed it. But after uploading the index.php document, I realize there is an extra line under the headline/button (not sure what to call it-I believe it said 'Our latest work' in the template). I did not document which line in the code I removed, so I'm not sure where to find the code that includes this separating line.
Can you tell me how to get rid of the line? Thanks.

Hey,
you can assign a homepage (by using the wp admin panel > aviso options) or remove this phrase by editing index.php. Search for:

else
 {
 echo "<h1>Welcome and Thanks for installing Avisio!</h1>";
 echo "It seems you didnt set up your frontpage by now. You can do that in your wordpress backend at Avisio Options &raquo; <a href='".get_option('siteurl')."/wp-admin/options.php?page=mainpage.php' title=''>Mainpage Options</a>";
 }

and delete this code.

A very basic question. Where do I go to remove this from the home page:

Welcome and thanks for installing Avisio

I've looked under Posts, Slider Entries, Portfolio Items and Pages, and no where can I see this phrase for me to remove.

I know there is probably a simple solutio, but I've been struggling with this theme. Word Press is new to me.

Thanks.
