Hi privaldes,

You can try out something like Wordpress Multi Language ( WPML) but Display doesn't have built in support for anything like that that I am aware of.

Hello!

I would like to know a option to use multilanguage feature in the Display theme.
I need a way to offer to user the option to select in which language they want to view all the website. I don't need a translation service. What I need is only the multilanguage support. I will translate the site.

Is there anyway to do this with Display theme?

Thanks!

Hey!

This area doesn't support widgets at the moment. Imho the easier/better solution would be to add your code to header.php. You can add your code after following line:

<!-- end social_bookmarks-->

Hi,
I'm currently setting up a website (abundance theme without woocemmerce) and I'm using qtranslate for the multilangual setup. I would like to add the language-widget in my Abundance Main Menu Area, on the top right side (where usually the shopping cart appears, but since I don't need the shop I would like to use this area for the widget).

I already found a similar thread which was a little bit confusing (http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/language-in-the-header#post-50539). Could you help me out with a short description how to set this up? I'm not so much into the coding stuff, just basic knowledge, trial and error...
I would be very happy for your help!!!
Thanks a lot, best,

Hey,
to be honest I never worked with qtranslate or used it and I'm not sure if there's a way to adapt the template or if it's a plugin issue, etc.
Some users reported problems with qtranslate (eg breadcrumb translation) and eventually it turned out that it was a plugin issue which required a manually fix. Kriesi recommends to use WPML.

Hello, I'm using the plugin qtranslate and really works well on the template.
But in the titles and descriptions of the slideshows not working well:

The code "[:es]español [:en]english" not work for me.

Is there any solution to adapt the template to qtranslate?
Sorry for my English.

Hey,
the breadcrumb uses standard wordpress functions like "get_the_category", "get_category_parents" and "get_the_term_list" for portfolio items. Based on the link above I assume that the issue is also caused by qtranslate. The breadcrumb just displays the term which is returned by the get_the_term_list function. Please contact the author of the plugin because I don't have enough insight in the code of a third party plugin.

I am using the qtranslate plugin to run a multilingual site (7 languages).
Likewise other users, I am having troubles at keeping the language selection while navigating through the site.
What happens is: when selecting a portfolio entry, it automatically jumps to the default language (in this case, german).
How can I keep the language selection throughout the whole visit?

I have inserted the breadcrumb also and It doesnt work well for the porfolio entries, It takes me to the archives of the category.
" if(!is_front_page() && empty($avia_config['slide_output']))
{
echo "<div id='breadcrumb_wrapper' class='container'>";
new avia_breadcrumb(array('delimiter' => '/'));
echo "</div>";
}"
How should I modify the class-breadcrumb.php to make it work right?

Corona supports WPML - posts, pages, menus and portfolio single entries are fully translatable. Portfolio overview pages (pages which display assigned portfolio categories) can cause troubles though.

Hi there.
I am using the qtranslate plugin to run a multilingual site (3 languages).
Likewise other users, I am having troubles at keeping the language selection while navigating through the site.
What happens is: when selecting a portfolio entry, it automatically jumps to the default language (in this case, catalan).
How can I keep the language selection throughout the whole visit?

Many thanks!

Hello,

I've tested, is added above the right sidebar, and I would like it to look at the top of the overall width.

Where I can put the code to see at the top?

Thank you very much, greetings!

Hey,
as far as I know Kriesi works with the WPML developers (WPML ) to improve translation features, etc.

As far as I know qtranslate offers php code to call the language switcher directly. It's much easier than implementing a new widget area. You can add this code to header.php (or sidebar.php).

Hello,

I just started in wordpress

How Can I insert a widget area at the top right of the screen to locate the language selector of qtranslate?

Is there a translator that fits more to this theme?

Thanks.
