Hi Casuh,

No, you'll need to use a plugin like Contact Form 7 to do multiple contact forms. It will actually give you more overall flexibility anyway so I definitely recommend it :)

Hi again,

Hi cloverco,

Yes, that's possible, just create the 3 pages, example Portfolio A, B and C. Then you should create the Portfolio Items and assign it with different categories. Then you should go to Angular > Theme Options > Portfolio, go to the bottom of it and you should see a plus icon, click it and it should generate a form, just fill it up.

(An example for Portfolio A):
Set Which categories should be used for the portfolio? with the right categories you want to appear for Portfolio A.
Set Which page should display the portfolio? to Portfolio A.
Set Portfolio Columns to 4 Columns.
Set Portfolio Post Number to 12.

Repeat the same steps for Portfolio B and C, just adjust some of it to fit with what you want. Hope this helps.

Regards,

I'd like to have three entirely separate portfolios, each on a different page. Each would have different Meta comments and each would have a different number of portfolio entires displayed. For example, portfolio A might have 12 entires, displaying 4 across while portfolio B and C might have just nine entries displaying three across. Is this possible?

Ok, so I think I understand where you are going there but I think I have to back up a step. Forget everything I had put in the first post...

I guess my question more simply put is how can I get my woo commerce categories as selections under my "Shop"? As them showing up to the right of the main menu when I hover over the "Shop" button? I know there was some mention of maybe a shortcode? If I use a shortcode, where do I put that short code (in my "shop" page text section?) and is there any customization I need to do to that short code to have it work for me?

Basically, how would you explain this to someone from the beginning who JUST downloaded the flashlight theme and is wanting to know how to do this. I'm sorry that I need more explanation... I really appreciate your patience and help!

I forgot to mention, that when you go to my page... visually it looks like I achieved what I want but I did it in the incorrect way so the navigation and end result (leading you to the correct catagory of products) is wrong. I do not know how to make it correct.

I hope this makes sense :-/

Hi there,

I have searched and searched throughout the forums and I haven't been able to find anything that made sense to me. I am using the Flashlight theme and using it mainly for a jewelry based shop, not a portfolio site. This is what I am trying to do:

1. On the main menu have a "SHOP" page in the left menu bar
2. When scrolling mouse over I want five categories to appear to the right: New Items, Rings, Necklaces, Earrings, and Bracelets
3. I want to be able to select each category and that category of products will appear.

Right now what I have done (I know this is wrong but I was just trying to figure something out):
Under "Appearances" --> "Menus"
I have put up a shop page on the main menu. For the sub-pages I then selected to add a "shop" page again and changed the navigation label to the title i wanted it. I did this for all five categories. Obviously, I found out it didn't work because I had selected the same "page" for each of those categories therefore leading it to show the same products on each page despite the title I created for it.

I have read some other forums with similar topics but they didn't seem to make sense to me. I would love a step by step on how to do this.

Here is my site. Don't mind the product photos, they are just space fillers right now. http://www.bpoyandjo.com

You can try to add portfolio categories to your menu (Appearance > Menus and on the left side you can select the the portfolio categories) however as far as I know the category pages look like standard archive pages: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/angular/portfolio_entries/css/ and the url isn't "better" too (because the taxonomy name "portfolio_entries" is part of it).

Hi,

I'm using multiple portfolio and if I quote the admin:
" For example if you enter 'portfolio-item' the link to the item will be http://www.xxx.com/portfolio-item/post-name "

I'd like to know if it's possible to get "portfolio-item" as:

Hi PixelSaw,

This would require you to capture the value of the radio button or drop down, and compare it to a preset list of email addresses associated with each possible choice selected. When a value matches an email address the email address needs to be sent to the email class along with the regular message.

The mail function will also need to be modified to accept an extra value of the email address as well as the various supporting classes. To change or add new email addresses would require going into the code as well. There are other ways of doing this, which won't be overwritten each time the plugin updates, but they are more involved.

The class that deals with email is in the plugin folder WooCommerce/classes/class-wc-email.php.

In my opinion you would need a freelancer to handle such a customization.

Thanks,

Thanks for input Paul!

Zorrrrro: If I'm following you correctly, I would create categories based off the portfolios I wanted e.g. Design Portfolio and Campaign Portfolio. Underneath each of those I would create sub-categories e.g. illustration, logos, etc. Once done I would go to Portfolio Options or Template Builder and setup the pages.

Would that accomplish what you want?

You have to select what categories each portfolio is to show, this you do under Angular > Theme Options > Portfolio

So for a subpage under portfolio you make a new portfolio under Angular > Theme Options > Portfolio

The first option is where you chose which categories this PARTICULAR PORTFOLIO will show.

Second option is where you set which page (your new subpage) should display this new portfolio you just created.

Yes i believe the way you sort your portfolios is with categories so if you want to have a portfolio with campaign "items" you just make a category for that specific campaign.

Regards

Hi Dude

I tried that already, however the same content appears in every new portfolio and I can't create new portfolios with different content each.

If the 'newly created' portfolio looks for content on the 'portfolio items' on the WP-Admin tags, how can I get different content to appear in different portfolios?

Also on your reply, you refer to the template builder element. I already created new portfolio templates there, however the same problem stands. I want to have the same media categories for all the work across all different platforms. As it is it's not working. Does it mean therefore, that I need to have different media categories for different portfolios?

Thanks in advance for your support.

You can create as may portfolios and portfolio pages as you like. Just go to Angular > Theme Options > Portfolio and scroll down. You'll see a green plus (+) and red X symbol in the bottom right corner of the portfolio option field. Click on the green plus and the option panel will fade in another (second) portfolio option field - you can set a different page, portfolio categories etc. for this portfolio too. If you want to remove a portfolio click on the red X symbol, if you want to add another portfolio click on the green plus symbol. In addition you can add new portfolios by using the template builder element.

Hi guys

How can does Angular support only 1 portfolio or can I create several portfolios as well?

You can view my portfolio page here http://bit.ly/LWAlm5.

However what I would like is to have is that page as my main portfolio and then separate pages with more and different campaigns as separate portfolios. These would be accessible from submenus by clicking on the 'Campaigns' link.

At the moment the Theme Options in the WP Admin Panel only seems to allow for one portfolio only, unless I missed something.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Cheers.

Zorrrrro

Yes, you can use the contact template on other pages on your site as long as your file directories don't mess up.

Hey,
you can edit the contact form in template_contact.php. It's currently not possible to use the contact form on rtwo different places - however you can use contact form plugins like Formidable or contact form 7 - the links can be found here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/useful-plugins

Hey,
currently my mailservers aren't responding well so I'm uncertain if this works.
You can open the file class-form-generator.php located in Coalition > framework > php.

find

$to = urldecode( $_POST['myemail'] );

and add the following below that line:

$to .= ', ' . 'your@email.com';

Please do let me know if it works as I'm uncertain.
