Hi TheGabriel,

This isn't something we can help with via support. You can look at plugin options or general wordpress customization options via a freelance developer.

Regards,

Hello,
I have a serious problem to log in on my second site of a WP network installation. This relates to the theme site log in page, not that of WP. I would like to offer the customers just one page to register and log in, so I just removed the registration button from the sub menu. This looks like this: http://epicase.de/mein-konto/
I did this also, because the registration page forwarded always to the fist site.
What can I do process the whole registration process over the log in page of the them?

Hi Pixelist,

We can't really help set up a MU set up. You'll need to check with http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network and then the wordpress support forums if you have any issues.

Regards,

Hi Kriesi

I get this message when I attempt to do a create network of wordpress sites:-

"Because your install is in a directory, the sites in your WordPress network must use sub-directories"

"Warning! The main site in a sub-directory install will need to use a modified permalink structure, potentially breaking existing links."

Is this a big problem?

Would it be easy to fix?

Would it mess up things with woo-commerce if the permalink structure was modified?

I'm aiming on using Propulsion on the first then another one of your themes (not ecommerce) on the second site.

Cheers

Pixelist

Just replace following code in header.php with your html menu - you can view the source code of your site to get it.

<!-- Navigation for Pages starts here -->
 <?php

 if(function_exists('wp_nav_menu'))
 {
 wp_nav_menu( array( 'menu' => 'Main', 'menu_class' => 'nav', 'echo' => true,
	'fallback_cb' => 'kriesi_fallback_menu', 'before' => '', 'after' => '', 'link_before' => '', 'link_after' => '',
	'depth' => 0, 'context' => 'frontend'));
 }

OK, I even bought the html version of clean cut to try and get this done, but even that doesn't work because it doesn't bring the code to make the menue drop down. So, I'm really at a loss :(

I have deleted the breadcrumbs for now, I will deal with that later. However, I really need to know how to hardcode the header (navigation) into the theme.

I have a new network I am building. It is an Intranet site for a state wide education network. I want the header and breadcrumbs to be consistent - but I'm not getting the results I'm looking for.

I have home/science - where science is a new network. Therefore Science curriculum can control the content on that site. HOwever, the navigation is using WP's new navigation in the admin panel. Therefore, it wants me to build a new menu within my new network. My new network doesn't contain all the categories et. all as my parent network. Is there a way I can put code right into the header.php for the navigation? The design of the header is consistent, including my logo, since I'm using the same theme. Just the links I put into the main page are gone.

I am also having a similar issue with my breadcrumbs. Instead of having home/child_site - child_site IS the home! Is there a way to hardcode "home" into the breadcrumb?

Thank you for any help. Networking is new to me! The possibility of having each curriculum area only see there stuff is very appealing and I hope I can get this to work!
