Can't check your site since its under maintenance mode. Try disabling all plugins and check if the issue is resolved, it might be caused by some plugins.

There is a rotating arrow on the slider and the portfolio thumbs and they never show up. I feel like I am missing a pluging or something, but I can't find it in the documentation or the forum.

Hey jithinsree,

WP super cache by default does not show you a cached version of your site while logged in. What you were seeing was the live changes while logged in. Then when you logged out, you were seeing the cached version created by the plugin.

Disabling that plugin completely until you are ready to have the site completely live and actively being viewed. It really will have no effect other than to frustrate you while developing.

Regards,

Hi,

I am sorry, are you referring to the site linked from your username -> http://retail.kiik.com.au/wp-content/themes/propulsion/style.css ?

If that's the site, please put the following into Quick CSS located in Admin > Propulsion > Theme Options > Styling at the bottom of the page.

.main_menu .menu ul {top: 20px}

Your site looks great and the Super Cache plugin is doing its job on reloads, but its not using a correct configuration for the initial load. You are at about 7 seconds for first load and around a second for subsequent visits, which is one of the best I've seen - are you running on Nginx? But the first load you could drop down to 3 seconds easily.

Here is somethings you could do to make your site even faster which improves Google's ranking -> http://www.webpagetest.org/result/120923_RQ_3PQ/1/performance_optimization/ and

Hi Ismael,

I did that - It's kind of hard to disable woo commerce since it's an integral part of the website, I disabled Contact Form 7 and it had no effect,

Hi,

You are using version 1.3 of the theme. The current version is 1.6. Prior to upgrading, please make sure that you make a copy of the database and all current files so that in case of unforeseen problems you can always revert back to the current setup.

I would suggest to first make a tentative upgrade on your development/testing server, and if you do not use one, to set up a local XAMPP development clone of your site to make sure the transition will be the smoothest possible.

Thanks,

Hey Guys,

I don't know if any one else is experiencing this BUT sometimes when I mouse over a menu item with a second tier drop down menu,

It appears and disappears depending on how quickly I'm able to get my mouse pointer onto the actual written link,

Hey kbunt,

This is for a completely different theme and the options are not at all related to Choices. While I appreciate the offered assitance, in this case it is incorrect and as I don't want confusion for the "Display Theme" issues and advice here I will be deleting the content of your two posts above. Again, just to avoid confusin.

@ svigneault - Your Display Options should be listed on the left hand side of the Wordpress admin at the very bottom. Select that item and then select Frontpage. This is only if you are using the Display theme demoed here: http://www.kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=display

Hi andrew7910,

First, disable any plugins you might have active to make sure none of them are interfering with the themes functions.

Next, go to your Display Options>Frontpage Slider and try setting the slider to jQuery Fading Slider, Use Slideshow Manager below and that the slideshow manager has the correct image path for your slideshow image.

It will also help if your slideshow image is an image that is 940px wide by 420px high.

Hello,

First I'll state that I'm intermediate with WordPress, second, that I love the theme so far!

I'm having an issue with getting the slider showing up on the frontpage of the site.

http://www.lessrushmoreattention.com

I've looked around and one suggestion said to make sure settings/reading has latest post checked, and that's set.

When I started today there was the logo in the center of the slider area, now there's nothing. I'm uploading jpgs.

Any help?

Hey Guys!

Just a notice on the problem: the next update will implement a better much simpler sidebar logic that should hopefully fix all problems with sidebars widgets displaying, not displaying or displaying at the wrong position :)

I will close this thread for now, if you encounter any problems with the next version (1.6) please just open a new thread, since this one is already quite hard to follow ;D

It looks like the Shop designation from WooCommerce overrides the normal set of sidebar page options except those that are in Display Everywhere and Display on all right sidebar.

I'll send the issue to Kriesi to see if its something we can get a fix for.

I also tried adding right side bar by default. The Shop then displayed a side bar with a list of site pages but none of the Shop specific widgets where were set in the Shop's unique widget area.

I am having the same issue with my shop area that kunststoffat is having.
http://www.ledastrayevents.com/buy-tickets/
The shop should have a side bar. I have activated it in the Flashlight Admin area and selected add right side bar in the Pages's admin area.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I had the same idea, but it wasn't the solution http://www.kunst-stoff.at/temp/sidebar_hopeless.png

The problem is only, if you preselect a page in the Wordpress-Option - in this case the Page for the Blog-Articles is Page #1234.

You'll need to remove the pages and other widgets from the Display Everwhere widget holder, then place the ones you want in the Shop sidebar only.

in this case
- i see the standard sidebar in the shop, but i created a sidebar-option for this page. this sidebar contains only checkout ect., not all pages ect.
- i didnt see any sidebar on the selected page for the news (only if the first article will be with sidebar, but it looks bad conceding the frame with the date

you can see it http://www.wreck-explorers.com
