Hi,

Maybe you need to change the currency. It says Paypal does not support your store currency. You can change that on Woocommerce > Settings > General > Currency.

These are the currencies Paypal currently supports. https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/sell/mc/mc_intro-outside

Please contact the WooCommerce support team: http://www.woothemes.com/support/ - they'll help you to fix the issue. We can only assist with theme related issues and imo the gateway problem is not related to the theme.

Thanks very much for your response Dude. This response here seemed applicable to me: "I had the same issue with the Paypal iframe contained in another iframe. It works now! Thanks – Fabrizio Fortino Oct 25 '12 at 7:12"

I'm going add target="_top" and see if that solves the problem. Will let you know soon how it goes.

Hi there,

I am wondering if anyone here can help me out with this problem I am having. My client is a printed classifieds magazine company. I am using Contact Form 7 to record user input for ad/classifieds placements which the client then outputs to their desktop publishing program to format for print. The problem I have is the Paypal button integration. Every time I set them up they appear to work fine then within a day or 2 they stop working. What I have done is set up a page with the Paypal Buy Now button for each product. Once the customer has filled in their details on the appropriate form for the product(advertisement) they are purchasing they are directed to the relevant page via a script that I have placed in the "Additional Settings" field of each CF7 form. For example: on_sent_ok: "location.replace('http://dev.ccctrader.com.au/ten-issue-subscription-payment/');"

Then when the customer clicks the "Buy Now" button it should take them to Paypal where they can complete their payment. This is where I have the problem, it doesn't redirect them, it seems to just go dead.

I don't have very many plugins:

Contact Form 7, Contact Form DB and Contact Form to DB Extension Edit. These are to allow customers to submit their details for the ads and for the client to be able to sort and edit them for print.

Paypal Framework: No idea if I need this or not. It was recommended to me however I have no idea how it works or what it is doing. Something to do with the Paypal API. I am now assuming that I don't need it since the Paypal buttons should really work independently from any site they are used on, is this correct?

The site itself is being redirected from another url ie http://www.ccctrader.com.au is being redirect to http://dev.ccctrader.com.au. Does this cause a problem with Paypal buttons?

How can I get CF7 forms and Paypal working together successfully?

Or, is there a better way for me to do this whilst maintaining the CF7 forms and database? Basically everything works fine, I just need the pay now buttons to work properly.

The site is: http://www.ccctrader.com.au

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Michael

As you mentioned, this is a must-have feature... Let me try to find a workaround and in case I succeed, I will post it here as well..

Currently this is not possible. However I think this is a "must-have" feature and probably we'll create an extension which allows you to add an additional fee based on the selected payment gateway. I'm not aware of a clever workaround - maybe you can use variations or shipping classes to charge additional fees.

Hi,

I've tried to find a solution thru the theme and woocommerce itself and searched the web as well however could't find any info regarding my problem.

I'd like to add an additional cost to specific payment methods, especially to PayPal. So once the user is at the checkout, I'd like to modify the total cost accordingly once he chooses one of the payment methods that I defined an extra charge.

Is it possible to integrate this?

Hey! I think It would be better if you would open a thread in the woocommerce forums on this one. Cant really help here since the plugin output (especially for the payment gateways) is completely controlled by the plugin, and I am not sure what exactly one would need to modify here.

You can open a forum account here by clicking the free download button and filling out the form: http://www.woothemes.com/woocommerce/

Hey RydenGT,

I'm not quite sure what could be causing the issue. Can you try deactivating Propulsion to see if the issues is theme related or an specific issue with WooCommerce?

If it is WooCommerce related, our support will be a bit limited and you might find better answers with their individual plugin forum.

Hi
When I try to pay through paypal method, I got {"result":"success","redirect":"http:\/\/mywebsite.com\/finalizar-compra\/pagar\/"} and don't go to the next step

In the class-wc-checkout.php file is not working this string:

$result = apply_filters('woocommerce_payment_successful_result', $result );

I need some idea to solve it.

Thanks

Hi!

Maybe you can use the raw shortcode http://www.wprecipes.com/disable-wordpress-automatic-formatting-on-posts-using-a-shortcode which force wp to deactivate the text "optimization" filters.

One more followup on this – here's what I found – after I paste the form code in to the editor in HTML mode, if I then edit the form in Visual Mode (say add heading formatting) then it changes the form code. I just re-did the form with new code from PayPal and I double checked their code and it was correct. After I switched to Visual Mode the selector box once was not working right. When I went back to HTML to check it had added the unneeded formatting.

So basically once you add the code in HTML you cannot then edit anything about the form in Visual Mode or it makes changes.

Duh, of course you're right. I didn't catch that since that code came directly from PayPal. In the future I won't assume they have done it correctly.

Thanks for the help. Love the themes, have used several for various sites now and always find them easy to work with.

Hey,
I think this has nothing to do with the theme or the styling because the html code itself contains two dropdowns. The code looks like:

Single Session $74.00 USD

Frequent Floater 3X $191.00 USD

but if you want to use a single select box it needs to be like:

Single Session $74.00 USD
Frequent Floater 3X $191.00 USD

I have added a very simple PayPal form with a selector for 2 payment options on this page: http://texaswatsu.com/private-sessions/ (low down on the left sidebar). As you can see what should appear as one selector field with 2 options in a drop-down selector is showing up as 2 separate items. Neither item may be selected so a purchase cannot be made.

I suspect it may be due to some css styling (I haven't made any changes to the original css) but have not been successful in finding it.

Your help is appreciated.

Hey,
the email notifications are part of the woocommerce code (they're not handled by our theme and we do not modify/hack the email templates in any way). Based on various woocommerce support forum threads (i.e. http://www.woothemes.com/support-forum/?viewtopic=65275 ) this is a problem with the hoster (in this case GoDaddy but obviously it's not limited to this hoster). If you're using godaddy you maybe need to switch the hoster because the woocommerce dev answer was:

This can be due to godaddy hosting as a few other people have encountered problems. Sadly, I don't think theres an easy way for us to fix this as it seems to be due to godaddy's hosting environment. See here: https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/issues/222

You may have some luck asking them for support, on the issue.

Everything appears to function normally when purchasing an item. But site visitors are not receiving the theme's confirmation email of their order, and we're not receiving the theme's notification that an order was placed.

Both visitor and seller are however receiving notifications from PayPal regarding cash.

Banging my head. What could be the issue?
