You can also try moving the important text, images etc towards the center of the image. This is a old printing trick where you have bleeds and trim marks for things that you know may be cut off when something goes out for print.

Hey,
I couldn't reproduce the behaviour with the slideshow settings too. Maybe it's a bug. I asked Kriesi if I missed something or if there's an option or random function which affects this behaviour. He'll report back soon.

Hey,
Wordpress will automatically crop images which do not fit the thumbnail dimensions. It's the standard wordpress thumbnail generation behaviour which we can't change.

I added some pics containing inscription (text) to the slider.

Since pics get framed and obviously shortened, parts of the letters are cut.

How to fix?

As you see on the above website (slider):
On Pic 1 the first pic is smaller than the one in the back.
On Pic 2 it's just the other way round.
Why?

Settings are the same for both pics.

Hey,

Are you sure you applied it correctly? It seemed to have worked for juluque, I have no idea why it would work for juluque and not for you. Do you have any crazy plugins or scripts installed? The error given makes me believe you forgot to close a function. Maybe you deleted too much?

Hey,

Personally I think the 2nd image is a very elegant and well constructed element of the template, however you can remove the 2nd image function by removing this code from the /includes/helper-slideshow.php file (around line 204):

if($multipleImages)
{
	$image2 = '
'.$image_string.'
';
	$output .= "

".$image2."
";
}

Hope this helps!

I would love to get rid of the second image in the small image slider. It doesnt make any sense to have a repeated image. I just dont know where to star. Thank you for your help, other than that the theme is working flawless!
