Hi,
personally I've no idea how to solve this. I searched the plugin files for the error message but I couldn't find it. Tbh I think this error is not important anyway because it will not affect your seo and the "front end" content/page contains the images in the html source code. If Yoast seo recognizes the images on the admin page doesn't matter at all.

Hi,

I hope this is something you can solve, even if it is Yoast(SEO)-Plugin-related:

The Plugin says: This page has no pictures. Add some.
Of course I do have a picture. As featured media, as always.
I dont have this problem with my Newscast-Theme, just with Sentence...

Any idea?

I've reloaded Abundance 1.8 and Woocommerce 2.0 and this seems to have solved the up-sell pic issue discussed in this theme. I still seem to have stability issues though which I will address on the other string. Thanks for your help on this one !

HI again both.
Right, with the latest theme update it's sorted out the 'giant' images.
The problem I now have is that I have both a 'related products' and a 'you may also like' upsell area, where before I only had related.
What I need is to know how to switch off the 'related' products.

I'm sure I once had a small piece of code that sorted this and I'd appreciate a resupply Devin !!

I'm having precisely the same issue, if and when you find a solution would you please share it.
Looking at the code, for some reason I'm getting a duplicate 'related products' div!

Hi Philip,

Nothing looks out of place except that block in the code but my guess is a plugin is conflicting with the normal single product loop.

First thing to try is to disable any active plugins except woo-commerce. If that fixes the issue, you can re-enable them one by one to find the offending plugin.

If you aren't using Abundance: 1.7, re-download the theme files from Themeforest and update the theme files so that we are using the same version and it may fix the bug.

Regards,

You can see the problem quite clearly here:http://www.taiwanteacrafts.com/product/wenshan-bao-zhong-tea-lot-110/. Look at the bottom of the page. The second set of pictures are giant sized.

I've tried re-sizing the pictures, reducing the number of up-sells listed nothing works. I really like this feature, but I can't use it because of that problem. I've contacted Woocommerce who said it was a theme issue. So here I am.

What have I done wrong ? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi markjoseph,

1) I'm not getting any major issues with the font when I view it with chrome on my end. Can you go to the google font site and view your chosen font and see if you have the same visual issues. If so, it could just be the rendering of the font from google.
http://www.google.com/webfonts

2) For the logo, you can try replacing the logo at its location on your host via ftp if the upload through wordpress is giving you issues. Its direct url is:

http://fivestoneapps.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Website-Logo-e1360404335520.jpg

I don't see any difference in the two images, but you may want to try saving your image as a png or gif format since the jpeg format is designed to downgrade the file to a small file size first and quality second.

3) Is it for this page: http://goo.gl/xAoLa

From the looks of it you have the portfolio images correctly working right now.

Hi there,

I just wanted to say I've loved the theme thus far. I'm just having a few problems.

1. The font (mostly in headings) is pixelated when I open the page in Google Chrome, or in Safari on a mobile device.

2. My logo is extremely blurry and pixelated. I've tried several different sizes and yet it's still not coming out clear.

3. I followed the portfolio instructions you put up, and for some reason only the title is showing up in the "gallery" page, the pictures are not showing up.

my webpage is: fivestoneapps.com

Thanks.

Hey!

This code: http://pastie.org/1980756 still works fine with IE9/10. Open up newscast/js/custom.js and delete the entire content. Then insert the code from pastie.org and save the file.

Best regards,
Peter

So, I found this topic with the same problems... http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/accordion-display-issue-in-ie9#post-19984

Does this solve my problem? Any other suggestions, this topic is older than one year...

Hi Devin, we tried this, but nothing changed. Is there a possibility to turn of the picture-loading-effect in the slider as well?

Hi sempre-audio,

Try changing the header of your files to just:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

And remove the content-type after the tradeDoubler comments so that it isn't doubled. If nothing else put the emulateIE7 back in there.

Regards,

Devin

...one point we thought about: is it possible to "split" the effects for the slider and the rest of the pictures on the page?

Hi, we are using Newscast HTML Theme for our website http://www.sempre-audio.at now. Everything works fine in Firefox, Safari and Chrome, but with IE there are most of the times no pictures. They appear shortly, then just the rotating circle stays... Any suggestion to solve this problem?

The second point: We use the right area for more news and blog posts, is there a way to define how many of them appear? For now, sometimes the last ones just get cut in the middle of the text.

Best regards, Michael Holzinger
