Hi I am having some issues with my date picker found in the "Delivery Details" section on this form: http://restinchairs.com/quote/rental/

When you click the field, the JQuery date picker displays properly but will dones not record input. On the right side of the field there is an up/down arrow set and then a single down arrow (neither should be there). The up/down arrow set displays the proper date picker same as if you click any where else in the field. The single down arrow displays a different date picker (no idea where this one is coming from) but this is the only one that will actually allow you to input a date.

I recently posted on another thread (http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/theme-update-creating-conflict-with-plugin) about a different problem I was having with this form. It turned out to be a duplicate JQuery file that needed to be removed. Could something similar be causing this problem?

II just get one error: Uncaught ReferenceError: product_variations is not defined in http://www.pearlsinternational.com:741

It seems like this is caused by a third party plugin (the javascript code is not part of the theme code). Do you use a "reward" or "rewards indicator" plugin for WooCommerce? If yes please deactivate it to solve the issue.

Hello all--

Woothemes support staff sent me your way with an issue I am having with my site. They told me I would need to speak to the developer about this one (They found the error while searching for a fix for a misbehaving Woocommerce Variable Products plugin that is not allowing an item with attributes to be added to the cart. I have no idea if the current problem is related to the plugin).

Here's the info they gave me:

"There is an error that page (http://www.pearlsinternational.com/shop/midnight-blue-freshwater-pearl-earrings/)

Uncaught ReferenceError: select_el is not defined

it comes from this page :

http://www.pearlsinternational.com/wp-content/themes/propulsion/config-woocommerce/woocommerce-mod.js?ver=1"

I'm not technologically advanced, but I follow directions pretty well. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction toward finding a solution for this error. I did a search of the support forum, but found only a couple of similar errors, and none that matched mine enough that I felt comfortable using their fixes.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hi,

The only thing I am seeing is that you have 2 copies of prettyPhoto javascript running, though I am not sure if it's causing that issue.

We would need to have a look at the plugin to see what's happening behind the scenes since there are no visible errors anywhere, its just the 3rd dropdown is completely ignored. The other thing I see is that the ID numbers of the first to dropdowns are sequential while the third one is not in the sequence 177, 178, 180. Can you try doing this again, with 3 and if it doesn't work try adding a 4th to see if the 3rd one will start working. And please look in the plugin where the /plugins/vision/js/jquery.prettyPhoto.js is enqueued and remove it since its never a good idea to be running duplicate jquery files.

Thanks,

Hi leonvalentine,

As Dude said, there aren't any errors showing that would give us any clue that there was an actual conflict. You could try to switch to default theme and see if it works then (the conditional logic) but it seems like the conditions for the missing option set are just not getting met.

Regards,

Hi dude,

Here is a simpler example: http://restinchairs.com/test-quote/

Dropdown A (at the left) has 3 options. Each option on dropdown A has a different set of corresponding options on dropdown B (on the right). For some reason, the conditional logic works for options 1 & 2 on dropdown A but not option 3. The conditional logic settings are exactly the same for all three...

Hi,
I could not find any javascript errors on the form page (you can use the Firebug or Chrome dev console to check your website for errors). Tbh I doubt this is a conflict with the theme but I'm not familiar with the plugin and I'm not entirely sure.

I am running the Visual Form Builder Pro plugin by Matthew Muro on my site with the Propulsion theme. Until the last theme update it was working perfectly. Since the theme update, if I try to change my form at all, the conditional logic will not work properly on new fields. What is really confusing is that the form fields that had conditional logic set before the theme update still work now as long as I do not make any changes to the settings.

I have not had any luck getting a response from the plugin author but his FAQ suggests that a theme conflict could be the issue: http://vfb.matthewmuro.com/faq/#theme-plugin-broken

I'm using the post types order plugin on all of my websites (with Replete, Propulsion, etc.) and it works just fine for me (wp3.5.1 and latest version of the themes & plugin). Maybe try to deactivate the plugin, remove it and install it again.

I'll mark the topic for Peter as he may need to remove that plugin from the recommended list if its no longer working.

For now, the only solution would be to disable the plugin when you need to use the shortcode editor and re-enable it afterwards. It isn't ideal, but we aren't actually able to support third party plugins or even guarantee their continued compatibility over time.

Is this with Wordpress 3.5, Choices 1.6 and Post Types Order 1.5.7?

Hi there
I found a conflict between the theme (Choice) and the plugin Post Type Order, which is the plugin that you suggested in the forum to use to sort the portfolio-items in a Portfolio, as the theme does not have this feature. When the plugin is installed you can not insert shortcodes in posts, pages and portfolio items. Have you any idea how to fix it? Obviously, it would be nice to be able to use both features (sort portfolio-item and insert shortocodes).

Another question. Is there a way to sort the portfolio-categories in a portfolio?

Thank you for your support
Best Regards

http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/internal-server-error-after-install-woocommerce

I started using the abundance theme without the woocommerce plug in and it was working fine. Then after a couple of days of using the Abundance theme, I installed the WooCommerce plugin as per the installation instructions. It started serving a PHP memory limit error. At first I thought it was my host so have contacted them, they've re-set the memory limit and it still doesn't work. I tried updating the .htacces file and wp.config file (don't have access to the php.ini) file, this didn't work.

I systematically went and disabled ALL plugins and I could upload images fine. Then I only enabled WooCommerce - boom, the problem happened again. See the link to the screenshot

https://img.skitch.com/20120619-xcg3hd4h5mttbqs7xn1uw7a6de.jpg

It appears there is a woocommerce/theme conflict. I purchased this theme because of it's shop functionality - can you please advise how to resolve this.

Running Wordpress 3.4

Cheers

Glad I could help :)

Plugins, while amazing, can sometimes not play nice with the theme files. Hopefully you can find a suitable alternative to that plugin.

Regards,

Hi nandeza,

I'm guessing that your issue might be related to a plugin you have installed and running. Try disabling all plugins you have running and then re-uploading a featured image.

Specifically try the mailchimp plugin/addon/script as it is throwing up a javascript error and could be putting a stop on the rest of the scripts that are trying to run.

Regards,

I'm suffering from the same problem on my site http://www.cucabrazuca.com. Featured images just won't appear and the loading icon is there forever. The problem started when I updated to the latest version of WordPress. I have tried using the latest version of the Theme but it does not solve it. Have you been able to pinpoint where the problem comes from?

Hi LaciFiltz,

If you are still having the issue, create a temporary admin account for me and I'll log in and take a look at how you have the images set up :)

You can send the information to my email at DevinVinson (at) gmail.com. Make sure to include a link to this topic so that my spam filter doesn't grab it :)

Try loading the image into the Media Library first. Once it's there, then go to your post and load the image into it from the library. Sometimes images uploaded directly from the post don't get saved properly by the library.

I use the shoutbox template and the newest wordpress. My problem is the site doesn't load the URL pictures. I don't have this problem with videos or sample pictures.
I've already switched off the plug-ins and it didn't help.
This is my site: http://www.hypeandhyper.hu/
