The main overview uses the Excerpt for its text content so you would just not put anything in that. 2) The timeline is a template type that you can select for a page from the Page Attributes meta box when viewing a page. Its a very simple script but if you aren't comfortable setting up and creating your own html/css and adding the js it should only take a freelance developer an hour (or less). 4) Not easily no. 5) Not without re-doing the entire blog template and loop for it. In the portfolio is there a way of just showing the heading and not the text underneath it? 2. How do I set the Archive page to timeline? 3. Is there a way that you know of to create a front page to the site. So the user types in the URL and a splash page pops up for 3 seconds then dissolves away and you're left with the sites normal home page. I don't think its a good idea to have the games on the same server as the website, but you can subdomain - use a CDN. cdn1.your-name.com to cdn4.your-name.com , this way the browser will be able to make more parallel downloads. Also you may find a way to not pre-load every game. .. and perhaps a button somewhere to turn off the song in a loop, hehe. There are a number of things you can do (and are currently not) to make your website significantly faster. (On the overall portfolio page above the image is already good) 3. Don't know if you already seen the add-this button in the footer, but hopefully this can be added/changed to place it below every game so that people can like individual games/pages and not the whole website. It is possible though extremely time consuming. Next challenge is that i want the iframe in a particular height and width. Why? Because some flash games have different sizes. So how to get the iframe in different sizes? 2nd question: could the title + tags/description also come beneath the whole game? 3rd question: at the index(portfolio) page the addthis button isnt showing in the footer. however, the addthis button shows in the blog part as right sidebar and then also in the footer. The reason why we also answer questions in German is that Kriesi is based in Vienna (Austria) and some people from Germany, Switzerland and Austria like to ask questions in their native language. I can understand that it's frustrating for someone if he doesn't understand what's written in a thread but the questions & answers are the same as in other threads. I can't remember a post where I answered a question/solved a problem for the first time in German. I've noticed that users sometimes post questions in a non-English language and the reply is in that same language. Is there any chance that someone (a moderator?) could at least do a quick translation of the question and answer when they reply? Many of us try not to post redundant questions and it is possible that the non-English question is something that would benefit everyone (and reduce the number of new questions). Just a suggestion.
