Hi, thanks for the reply!

Yes, now i´m using the grid. But there are two other problems now.

See it here:

Did you change the blog layout? It seems like you're using the grid now. However in functions.php search for:

$avia_config['imgSize']['entry_with_sidebar'] 	= array('width'=>710, 'height'=>270);		                 // big images for blog and page entries

and increase the width value. Then regenerate the thumbnails with: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

I have a question concerning the same issue.
when i use the quick css two things happen:

1) the logo is smaller afterwards
2) a line (like an horizontal ruler) is added below the menu.

any idea why this happens?

thanks in advance

Hi there,

where can i resize the images in the blog or in singleposts?
I´m using "single author, big preview pic" blog mode.
I want to show the photos in full size (for example 800px / 600px), because it is a photoblog. (not 710px / 248px)

Is there a possibility to add a custom css or something else?

Here is the page: http://seegers-fotografie.de/blog/

Hi,
Here's my website : http://allandickens.com/billets-reservations-spectacle-paris-2013-magnifica/
I've got pages on my website with big slideshows at the top of them.
The problem is I don't understand why the height of the slideshow is auto-resizing on load...
There's a little transition on the ul.slideshow class.
Any suggestion ?

Cheers

That's what I've been already doing.. If I inspect element with google chrome I see:

315x88 pixels (Natural 355x88 pixels)

I think this might be due to any of the CSS classes or containers. Could you please check it?

Everytime I upload a new logo it's being resized.

ie: 400x88 to 355x88.

I resize my logo to 355x88 then it's resized to 315x88.

Is there any way I can upload a logo picture without being resized? Because logo logs blurish because of resize.

For some reason the repeating mage that I've set for the background image on alternating panels works perfectly here:
http://www.cogitocorp.com.php53-17.ord1-1.websitetestlink.com/?page_id=1439

But on this page, it flickers black if you resize the window or even appears all black if the window size is a certain width (you can get it to appear again by resizing):
http://www.cogitocorp.com.php53-17.ord1-1.websitetestlink.com/?page_id=1379

Any idea what's causing this?

Yes possibly that is the reason. We will be switching to Enfold shortly so it should clear up the problem. We will use the updated Replete 1.4 license for another website, that way it doesn't cause this issue :)

Best regards,
Nicolas

Hi,

Please remove the css above and use this instead. This works on my end.

.logo {
float: right;
position: absolute;
right: 0;
text-align: right;
}

.logo a {
float: right;
z-index: 9999;
}

.main_menu {
left: 0;
}

Regards,

okay, it works now if i change it to "position: relative;"

but by resizing / making the browser-window smaller (x-dimension), the alignment is changing suddenly to left again (ca. tab-size!)
is there any other css-extra for this size?

the navigation is left-aligned now!
the logo is still on the left side - should be right-aligned...

i use a fixed header with fixed y-dimension:

#header_main .container, .main_menu ul:first-child > li > a {

html.fixed_header #main {
padding-top: 80px;
}

div .logo {
float: right;
position: absolute;
right: 0;

Hi Chris,

The layer slider is actually already a plugin of sorts within the theme and as far as I know that isn't support for it at the moment. It might be possible with some custom css and media queries but it would need to be customized specifically for each instance of the slider and slide (even then I think it would still try and load both but only show the smaller one).

But with that level of customization it would need to be done by a freelance developer as we aren't able to get into that level of customization via support.

Regards,

Hi!

Very strange - maybe it depends on the youtube source (i.e. if they have a lot of traffic youtube doesn't load the hd video version but sd, etc.).

Best regards,
Peter
