Its not actually vanishing, but instead its just behind the other content. You'll need to add the following css to move it over specifically for that page:

#top.page-id-186 .sidebar.sidebar2.box {
left: 992px;
}

Hi bakerystore,

The CSS shouldn't have any effect on the sidebar to that page at all. Make sure your settings to display it are all marked properly (either site wide or individuality for that page).

Regards,

Hi aspirework,

The size of the images is dependent on the page size and column count. So in your main catalog there are 3 columns and the page is the larger 3 column portfolio size (as the shop catalog is by default).

You'll need to add the following into your Quick CSS in the Style tab of the theme options and change the page ID for the page you have the shortcode on:

#top.page-id-40 .content .box {
width: 660px;
}

Note: Page ide 40 is the one you have linked as a test.

Next just change the shortcode column count to 3 instead of 4.

Regards,

Devin

I recently made a post about a problem I was having. A support member gave me code to try, and that didn't work, but I haven't heard from them since. I thought I would make a new post to try to grab their attention again. Here's the text from the original post:

"Hi there!
I purchased the Flashlight theme (which I am loving, by the way!) to sell clothing. My current problem is that I have multiple categories. I don't want everything showing up on one page, as it is by default when you click "shop".
I set up my menu you that when you hover over "Shop", it brings out the dropdown menu with all of the categories. When you click each page, I would like only the relevant products to appear, to allow users to browse easier.
I created something of a workaround on my "Blouses & Tops" page ( http://shopcirca360.com/?page_id=40 ) using the Woocommerce shortcode: [product_category category="blouses-and-tops"]
This did display the one product in that category, but it is very small and, when you hover over it, the "show details" button is broken. What I want is for it to be set up just like the Shop page, just category-specific. I want the large thumbnails/titles.
Can you tell me how this can be done?
For what it is worth, here is the link to my site: http://www.ShopCirca360.com
Thanks in advance!"

I was told to use the code [product_category category="xxx" per_page="12" columns="4" orderby="date" order="desc"]
When I do this, the thumbnails for the images are very small, and the "View Details" popup on hovering over the image is broken.
I need further assistance -- Any tips?

Hey!

Inline content respects the captions you set in WP Media Manager; the lightbox always displays the title.

There's no easy way to change this unfortunately.

Best regards,

Thanks so much for your reply.

I must be a noob though (at least I feel like one).

Whatever I change, the caption underneath the zoomed picture (lightbox popup) from portfolio is still showing the title of the entry with the image attached to it. I can't find a way to put my own information in the shown caption.

Hi!

You can adjust the captions by editing the details for the image under Media in WP admin.

Select the image you want to edit and change the "Caption" text.

Regards,

I can't figure out this problem! Hope someone can help me.

My portfolio has an entry called 'Villa mansion at Amsterdam' with an image attached of a nice house.
When I enlarge this picture in the portfolio, the caption/description of the image underneath the picture is automatically the same as the title of the portfolio entry: 'Villa mansion at Amsterdam'.

I would like to have more separate lines in this description, to add names of the architects and year of realisation.

How is this possible? Can the image caption/description show information that I type somewhere at the entry page of the portfolio?

Thnx!
