Hi gwildbur,

The iframes are set to expand to the containers they sit inside. So using the column shortcodes as you are on that page will allow you to control the video sizes and still keep things responsive. The last video on that page (currently) is inside a one_forth container which is why its smaller.

Regards,

I have placed 2 different iframes on a page and the size of the iframe gets overwritten by the system (specially my height) .

http://mysticalmindtrainingcenter.org/about-us/

Code overwritten on my first iframe on the page note the height set by the system.
element.style {
height: 163.03531179564237px;
}

The Second iframe comes by a template insert page at bottom of page, Also my height being overwritten by system.
http://mysticalmindtrainingcenter.org/spreaker-bar/

IS THERE ANY HIDDEN CODE or something I can do to tell the system not overwrite my code?
Thank you.

Hi,

Please update your theme to the latest version. That should take care of the Android issue. Just log into themeforest.com using the same account you purchased the theme and download the latest version. Please be aware that the update will replace all theme files including your custom.css and overwrite all modifications you've made directly to template files. Please make a backup of your current theme prior to updating.

Thanks,

Hi Wayne,

1) You can use a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-image-sizes/ and then make sure the images don't have the crop set to yes for the images.

2) Unfortunately I've never found a solution for that. Because of the responsive design and the way the layout with the slideshow is done if you limit the image to not scale it then just leaves a big blank space where the layout expects the image to be.

The only thing I've found is to put your very large portrait images on a white canvas of the height you want them to be. This way it limits the overall height of the container. Additionally, you could FTP to your image files and replace that image size with your own image that is actually smaller than what was generated. As long as it has the same file name, the theme will grab and use it even if the *actual* image size is smaller. So this image:

http://www.waynewrightphotography.net/wp/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/MG_1601-Edit1-619x930.jpg

would be replaced by one with an identical file name in the same location but the actual image would be the portrait on a white/block or transparent canvas with a width of 930px. Which means it would not get scaled vertically to fill the width.

3) The image is pulled from the Featured gallery for those elements. You need to add at least one image to it so that it can be used by the theme.

4) Which tablet and OS version is it? There shouldn't be any instance where they aren't selectable for android.

Regards,

Please forgive me if this has been answered before, I have looked through and cant seem to find an answer...
My issues..

1) When viewing my portfolio http://www.waynewrightphotography.net/wp/portfolio-2/ is there a way of having the images not cropped as thumbnails?
2) When viewing a portrait orientated image http://www.waynewrightphotography.net/wp/portfolio-landscape/cervante-dune/ it shows too large, is there a way of limiting this orientation to be viewed on 1 page?
3) In the sidebar widget http://www.waynewrightphotography.net/wp/ images do not show in popular/recent???
4) viewing the portfolio within my android tablet http://www.waynewrightphotography.net/wp/portfolio-2/ images are not clickable but are on my PC?

I am very new to Wordpress and am trying to get my head around it, I love this theme and hope I can get these small things sorted.
I am also impressed reading through the support pages of the amount of support.

If creating a user for someone to have a look will help please let me know.

The link you posted is password protected. I am being asked to login.

You can open up functions.php at the root of the theme and between line 20-30 you will see the various image dimensions. Please make sure that they reflect the sizes you intend to display. Also under Settings > Media, please make sure the 'Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional)', is checked off.

Thanks,

Hello,

I have a problem with portfolio images that are looking blurry, and even after regenerating thumbnails.
Landscapes images are display perfect when portraits are very blurry and not at the size they are supposed to be.
Are the wordpress media settings useful for this theme or is it somewhere else that I can fine tune those specifications?

Any solution?

here is link to see what I get : http://www.kplusp.com/
Both entries have the same problem!

Many thanks for helping

Hi there

I wonder if you can help.

When I can click on some of my tags, sometimes the next page shows with the column for 'Search', 'Flickr' and 'Tags' moved under the tagged content.

With other tags, the next pages shows those buttons on their normal place.

See the problem here

http://www.zorrrrro.com/?page_id=698&preview=true

So if you click on the 2012, guide, London, Olympics or Summer tags, the next page shows the buttons where they should be.

However if you click on the Audi, award, Cannes or TV tag, the buttons then move to below the tagged content when the next page appears.

Can you suggest and advice to keep it all consistent as when clicking on the 2012 tag, please?

Also is there a way I can change the tags format so the most popular appear bigger and the least smaller?

Thank you very much in advance.

Thanks, that's stopped the thumbnails moving about. I'm still struggling though with seemlingly simple things like making the thumbnails bigger. I change the setting and they stay the same, it's very frustrating.

I really wish Flashlight was easier to use with ecommerce. I want to use it but it's very important that ecommerce works for me.

Hey,
I'm sorry but as far as I know it's not possible to add any additional options to the shop/product category & overview pages. I added a similiar request to the github issue section: https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/issues/483 but it seems like the plugin developers are not working on this feature (yet). The ajax/shop page code structure does not allow to implement this feature easily.

I tried keyword searching the threads but couldn't find anything that related to my issue.

I'm uploading clothing products into my store but each item of clothing has different size options... So far it's looking like each product needs a page for each of it's sizes. For example if I have a product named "Grey Hoodie" that comes in sizes S, M, and L, I need to add 3 different products (one for each size).

I've tried using attributes, but I'd really like to just have a dropdown area where customers can select which size they'd like to purchase without having to go to a different page.

If any part of this was unclear please let me know :)

Yes. On the nextgen gallery option page go to the "Gallery" tab and select "thumbnails" instead of "slideshow" and deactivate "use slideshow" checkbox and ajax navigation. In the "Effect" option tab use the custom effect option and enter following code in the textbox below:

rel="prettyPhoto[%GALLERY_NAME%]"

The thumbnail hover effect may be a css issue - can you post a link please?

Thanks for the tip. I did have a play around with Nextgen but it didn't seem to integrate with Flashlight very well. Mouseovers were causing thumbnails to jump around and clicking images was causing both Nextgen & Flashlight to open the image full size similtaneously.

Are there any guidelines for using Nextgen and Flashlight together?

Hey,
as far as I know you need to create a product for each image. The sizes can be handled with variations though. I think a better solution would be to use Nextgen Gallery: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nextgen-gallery/ and WP eStore because estore offers an integration feature: http://bit.ly/yiGSps

Hi,

Firstly I'd like to say what a fantastic theme this is. It's working beautifully.

The only issue I'm encountering is with woocommerce, but not because of a problem as such, just because I can't configure it to do what I need. I was hoping someone could help me figure out whether it's possible?

Here's what I need:

1) A 'shop' page listing different galleries.
2) Each gallery may contain 100's of photos.
3) Each photo needs to be purchasable in multiple sizes.

So my users need to be able to look through galleries of lots of photos, and they need to be able to add photos (in varying sizes) to the cart as they go.

Does this sound do-able? Uploading hundreds of photos individually as 'products' is not really an option here. I think I need to be able to integrate woocommerce into the Flashlight galleries.

Thanks in advance.
Russ

Unfortunately I can't, it's being hidden in Maintenance Mode, we don't want to make it visible until the launch date. I believe I got it figured out, using Web Developer via Firefox and modified the below CSS for the overflow to be visible instead of hidden, and it did the trick. I also adjusted the margin between ad entries to tighten up the spacing between ads.

.sidebar .box{
margin:0;
padding:0 0 10px 0;
overflow: visible;
clear:both;
}

.fullwidth_sidebar .link_list_item2{
margin:15px 0 1px;

If I should have done this differently, I would appreciate your help. I have a question regarding the navigation - but I'll post that as a separate entry to not mix with this one.

Thanks,
Erik

Ok, we're close. I changed it to ...

.link_list img{
display:block;
height:250px;
width:250px;
}

The height seems to have taken, but the width looks to be stuck on 125px. Here's a screenshot -- http://www.whitespiderdesign.com/Picture3.png

Hey,
the fullwidth sidebar has a width of 340px. You can change the advert image dimensions - open up style.css and search for:

.link_list img{
display:block;
height:125px;
width:125px;
}

You can adjust the width + height. You'll need to adjust your images accordingly.

Nice theme! Have a question about advertisement sizes. I know they are set at 125 x 125 by default, is there any way to set the default to a larger size (i.e. 250 x 250)? Which brings up my other question, I'm using the "One Big Sidebar" option, what is the largest width for that option? We want to give advertisers viable space, and the 125 x 125 is too small.

Appreciate the help.

Thanks,
Erik
