Hello,

My bad. Sorry. Use this instead.

.js_active .slideshow li, .js_active .slideshow .featured {
display: block !important;
}

I'm really not sure if this is going to work. Do you have any plugins installed? Please deactivate all of them, see if the slideshow works. Activate them one at a time to see which plugin is interfering with the slider.

Cheers,

Hi guys,

Yes I know this is probably yet another dumb question but... I know you can set the slideshow autorotation rate for all galleries and then change it for each gallery. But what if you want to set a gallery to have no autorotation but have a different rate to the default rate if the user hits the 'play' button. I think the default rate is too quick and I want to slow it down...

Thanks in advance,

In the template online any images slideshow has the Capture Text with the setting "Caption Position and Style: Right Framed". For this reason you can not see that little imperfection in the template that is online.

1) I installed the theme locally, without any customization
2) I imported the dummy date
3) The first image that appears in the slideshow on the home I gave "Caption Position and Style: Right Framed" (Right, and not Left).
4) Mozilla and Chrome show that little margin that you can see in the pictures I've attached in one of the previous messages.

I hope it was clear. Also thanks for assistance.

Hi,

I don't see anything on the demo http://www.clipular.com/c?6015016=FIapMRWOXCzGWXMKz1NQp06-Y8w&f=.png

If you can provide a link with code that exhibits the problem we can solve it. But with your eye for detail, you have to install Chrome Developer Tools and in minutes you will be editing like a pro without the need to even know css. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvJflwF8eYM and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNsM2PUkZ1g

Ismal (and also Nick and Devin) thank you very much: finally the problem was solved in safari! You are great!

I'll notice a small defect in the caption in mozilla and chrome (which was also before updating the custom.css with the last change that you reported and therefore do not depend on it), the "Caption Position and Style: right Framed "has a very small margin / paddin right both in firefox (it looks like a couple of pixels) in both chrome (it looks like a pixel). I'll show you the screenshots:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7254890/kriesi/01-firefox.png

Solved this imprecision, your caption will finally be perfect!

Hi Nick. Thanks for the reply.
Not even this solves the problem, but eliminates padding / margin in all browsers.

Just to avoid confusion: without making any changes to the style of the original theme, the problem that you see in the pictures I sent you the link, occurs only in Safari, even looking at your theme online. As you can see in the pictures, the Caption Position and Style has that problem only on Safari.

I hope there is a solution.
Thanks in advance.

If you can help by, I tell you that in the previous version of the theme the "Caption Title" gave a problem of margin/padding right in Chrome and in the new update of the theme there a similar problem in from Safari.

Yes, you can hide it with:

.page-id-645 .slideshow_container{
display: none !important;
}

on pages or

.postid-282 .slideshow_container{
display: none !important;
}

on single post pages.

Insert the code into the quick css field and replace the post/page id.

Hello.
I pointed this same problem some time ago and after the update of the template seemed that the problem had been solved. Only now I realize that it is not so because the caption title in the slideshow works poorly on Safari (while working properly in Mozilla and Chrome).

On Safari the Caption title and the frame have a right margin that should not have. This happens both in the version installed on the server at localhost. It also happens on your site (http://www.kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=coherence)

I am also sending some screen shoot.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7254890/kriesi/caption-title-01.png
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7254890/kriesi/caption-title-02.png
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7254890/kriesi/caption-title-03.png

I hope you fix it! Tanks in advance.

Hey!

I'm not sure what's the issue here. The breadcrumb does not depend on the slideshow and you can hide the slideshow container without removing the breadcrumb.

Regards,
Peter

Hi Viktoria,

Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

.chrome .slideshow_inner_caption {
width: 80%;
}

This should be included in the next theme update as chrome has changed the way it renders a bit of css.

Regards,

Devin

Hi,

I have a slideshow with Caption on my front page, that displays well in Safari, but seems to long in Google Chrome.

http://www.theartsofsilence.com/

What can I do to make it look nice?

Thanks a lot,

Hi Myrror2,

I'm not sure what you mean. There isn't any easier way to edit the slideshow other than following the steps in the video and doing the same on your own site.

You can read through the documentation file that came with the theme or try watching the video and following along exactly at the same time.

Regards,
