I tested them all, and just so you know, the last one you've mentioned, Xmas Snow, is the only one that works.

Thanks for your help.

Yes, basically it should work if there're no js errors/conflicts. You can try plugins like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/snow-storm , http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ptis-cool-snow/ , http://premiumcoding.com/wordpress-falling-snow-plugin/ , http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nksnow/ , http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/xmas-snow/

Hi,

Thanks for your response. There is no file in place because having tried to implement that html5 falling snow effect without success I removed said file, because it was applying a plain white canvas layer over the entire site, making it inaccessible.

Is there a way to make the first code snippet, at http://www.schillmania.com/projects/snowstorm/ work? I placed the relevant code in the
<head></head>
tag and uploaded the .js file, but there was no visible difference on the site.

Thanks again.

Hi,

I'm decorating jobsource.ie for Christmas and in previous years I've used a falling snow effect available here:

http://www.schillmania.com/projects/snowstorm/

Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it seems it wont work with the Flagship theme. I was wondering if there is a way to make the javascript work within the flagship framework, or if a different snippet or plugin known to you that is compatible. I also unsuccessfully attempted to use a html5 snippet, available here:

http://www.codebase.es/test/snow.php

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to your entire team for their help throughout the year and Happy Holidays.

Hi Crisse,

Well, I've a partial solution as it will work in everything except IE8, though maybe in IE9.

If you remove the clear from what you've got for the post entry css and then add a padding right that will give you columns. Then you need to have the last element have no padding so that they all fit snuggly.

The final css in your custom.css will be:

#top.home div.template-dynamic-frontpage div.content.units.nine.alpha div.post-entry {
width: 30%;
clear: none;
padding-right: 46px;
}

#top.home div.template-dynamic-frontpage div.content.units.nine.alpha div.post-entry:nth-last-child(1) {
padding-right: 0px;
}

Adjust as needed, but I believe that *should* do the trick.

Regards,

Hi everyone and thank you for this beautiful theme (propulsion) :)

I'd like to show blog post snippets on my homepage, I've notice that it's pretty easy doing this with portfolio items, but adding the blog element on Template Builder means adding the whole blog page .
Since my hp is built through Template Builder I don't know which file I can edit...(I'm not a developer but I can have a try).
Or maybe there's a plugin that can help?
On each snippet I'd like to show title, few lines of the post and a thumbnail, is it possible to associate an image to a blog category so it could be pretty automatic?

here's the site http://www.cristinamariani-art.com/test/cascinaoro/
Hope my requests are clear :)
Thank you!
