Hi siguenadando,

You'll need to is add the following code to your custom.css or Quick CSS. The only catch is that you need to add the post's ID to the front of the code otherwise the date will be hidden for all the posts. To find the post's ID number, go to your Dashboard and look at the URL of your sticky post. In there will be a number that you use as the ID number.

For example on Kriesi's demo, the first post's ID is 44.

/wp-admin/post.php?post=44&action=edit

Once you have the ID then you can use this code.

.post-entry-44 .side-container-date {
display: none;
}

Regards,

Hello, I love the template but I have a little problem.
I created a sticky post to always appear at first in the home, and I want to remove or hide the post date.
Only that, but it's important to me.
I've tried different methods (plugins included) but either do not work or are deleted in all post.
Appreciate it

Hi rizikos,

To my knowledge, Shoutbox does not make use of sticky posts feature which means you would have to add the functionality in. I could be wrong though so let me tag the rest of the support team to see if they know.

Hi,

depending on how you'd want to "stick" them up there there are several options, for one you can use the featured slider. You can also use dynamic templates with columns and then choose which pages you'd like to show. You could also customise some code but I think dynamic templates are the way to go here.

Hello,

We are using the Portfolio items for our future Events on our website.

Since portfolio entries are not sortable by name, we wanted to Stick some entries so they can be on top (especially on our Frontpage who call the portfolio back).

Is there a Sticky Plugin who works with Portfolio items ? Should I change the way we announce our future event ?

Hi,

I'd like to set the footer to stick to the bottom of the screen. I changed the background colour to purple and left the footer as it is so now on large screens with pages of little content the page the footer is pushed half way up and the page background continues on below it.

What code do I need to use in the custom.css in the broadscope theme. My site isn't live yet so unfortunately I can't show you.

Hi There,

I know I can get posts sticky from the "post" menu and it works great. Now, I have 7 menu items "categories" on the "Second" menu. How can I make a post sticky only inside of its category and not be sticky on the homepage ?

you can see the blog at http://www.vancouver-realestate.portal.com
-now click on "Communities"
-I want that first post titles "Communities in British Columbia" to stay sticky but only in this section.

Let me know if that is possible or what trick could I do.

Thanks,

Sorry for that. I had to re setup everything in order to launch the whole forum.

I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish. The theme already lets you select any attached image you like. It doesn't use the first image in the post.

I couldnt get sticky posts to work by now, since this doesnt seem to work with custom loops, so currently I would recommend to search a plugin for that feature
