Did you try to deactivate all third party plugins/extensions? Maybe an extension conflicts with the latest version of WooCommerce. You can also try to contact the host - maybe they can provide a php error log.

You can contact the WooCommerce support staff here: http://www.woothemes.com/support/

Hi Devin!

Thank you for your help. I've just seach for the Track Inventory button in Woocommerce Settings>Inventory, but i could not find it. Instead i had manage stock, which was selected, enable low stock notifications and enable out of stock notifications. Also we looked in the products, where you manage the inventory, but it seems everything is right! We are getting mad to find which is the problem. Do you knw something else we could do?

Where do we contact the WooCommerce support?

Thanks,

Hi mrzoogling,

You'll need to contact WooCommerce support as we aren't able to offer support directly for WooCommerce related bugs.

From my own experience with client sites, make sure that you have product inventory being tracked from the Woocommerce Settings>Inventory and that each item has the proper stock and Track Inventory selected (it must be turned on for each product).

Regards,

Hi! I've just opened my web site and I have found an error with the stock counter (we installed the woocommerce pluging). My problem is that i am just starting and my stock is really small (from 1 up to 4 products). Before opening the web site i did tests, and it worked correctly. Now, when someone buys a product the stock counter does not go down, so products with 1 product in stock, do not go into out of stock when someone buys it. Yesterday, we did it manually, when paypal notified us there was a sell, we took out the product from the stock. I am sure you understand these is impossible for us, and i hope you could solve it as soon as possible.

Thanks in advanced

I searched the files and found following occurences of "in stock":

woocommerce\admin\post-types\product.php , woocommerce\classes\class-wc-cart.php and woocommerce\classes\class-wc-product.php - I think woocommerce\classes\class-wc-product.php is still valid. Maybe it's a server cache problem. It's quite strange that (even after the update) the code is still the same and in comment.

Hey!

Did you try to update to WC 1.5.5? This sounds like a plugin error because our theme does not hack into the stock management function.

Hello all,

I had this question before and it was solved but when I updated woocommerce the problem was back and I don't get it the way it was. I had a question about the stock info. First you could see how many products there were in stock. I wanted only the words "in stock".

In the class-wc-product.php I had to comment this line:
$availability = sprintf( __('%s in stock', 'woocommerce'), $this->stock );

But I updated woocommerce and I have again a number after the in stock. (In stock – 10 available) The line is still in comment so how come and how to fix this?

Thanks a lot,

Hi jorisvh,

Personally, I only know these shortcodes:

[recent_products per_page="12" columns="4"] – Lists recent products – useful on the homepage. The per page limits the amount of recent products shown, and the columns attribute controls how many columns wide the products should be before wrapping.

[featured_products per_page="12" columns="4"] – Works exactly the same as recent products but displays products which have been set as "featured".

[product id="99"] – Show a single product by ID

[product sku="FOO"] – Show a single product by SKU

[products ids="1, 2, 3, 4, 5"] – Show multiple products by ID

[products skus="foo, bar, baz" orderby="date" order="desc"] – Show multiple products by SKU

I don't think though they offer what you're looking for so you may want to visit Woocommerce's shortcode page.

http://www.woothemes.com/woocommerce-docs/

Hello,

In the single product page I have the amount of products. For example 10 in stock. But is it possible to leave the number and to see only if there are products in stock or not? So just: In stock or Not in stock.

And another question. Is it possible to put the stock info, the text fielt where you can choose your amount of products, the add to cart button and the price, in the product description box?

EDIT:
I found the [add_to_cart id="" sku=""] shortcode. Is there a shortcode for the in stock text and the field where you can choose your amount of products?

Thanks
