Hello!

Due the security issues with wordpress admin accounts I created a new administrator account and deleled the admin. Since then my dashboard is missing the portfolio tab. Fortunate my portfolio items are still accessible via Eunoia\Theme Options\Portfolio\ link write/edit a portfolio item. However it lacks easy access to the portfolio and the features of the "Post Types Order" plugin.

Any advice?

Thanks,

Thanks for the quick reply, Devin. Unfortunately, the trigger doesn't seem to be working. Is there some sort of syntax edit or function that needs to be added? I should be able to type the product url in the browser: http://finishlynx.com/product/cameras/etherlynx-2000-photo-finish-camera/#tab-attributes and have the page open directly on the attributes tab, correct?

Hi!

You can use the trigger function like:

jQuery("#tab-attributes").trigger('click');

insert it after the document.ready check and jquery should switch the tab automatically.

Hey, I'm trying to link directly to a non-default woocommerce tab from an external page (Abundance theme). For instance, if I want to link someone directly to the product attributes tab, I should be able to give them the link to the product with
#tab-attributes
appended to the end. For instance: http://www.finishlynx.com/product/cameras/etherlynx-2000-photo-finish-camera/#tab-attributes

This does not work, however. Is there some js or jquery snippit I can use to permalink to specific tabs?

Hi,

That functionality isn't part of any of the themes as far as I know.

However the tab itself is created on line 263 of register-shortcodes.php in /includes/admin/ directory of the theme. You can change that line to look like:

$output = '<div class="tab $title"></div>'."\n";

Now when you add titles to your tabs make the title a css class name which describes a background image. So lets say you first tab you give a title of imgDog. and you already have .imgDog in css described as a background image. So now your first tab would have a background image, and so on but it would have no text. This is done since there is no loop there to iterate +1 to some generic class name. Otherwise you will have to create the functionality programmatically.

Thanks,

Nick

Hello,

I would like to change the font size and colour of my tab title. So far my CSS looks like this...

.js_active .tab {
font-size: 16px;
text-transform: propercase;
color:#006666;
}

But the title is only the color:#006666 when not on that tab - http://etool.net.au/terms-and-conditions/

Hi,

This is for the active tab content.

.tab_content.active_tab_content {
background: red;
}

And this is for the active tab menu.

.tab.active_tab {
background: red!important;
}

Add them on your custom.css. If you want the comprehensive stylesheet for shortcodes, go to css folder and open shortcode.css.

Regards,
Ismael

I have tried looking at the shortcode.css file, but couldn't find the area to make the change. How do I change the light gray background of the tab container in shortcodes to a color that I'd like to have? Is this possible? Thank you for your help!

Great theme! Easy to use and modify... up and running pretty quick. Just a question:

We created the mainpage slider, which cycles through 5 images of service types (a,b,c,d,e). They all link to the service page (page 2)

We have another page (page2) called service, which lists all 5 services (a,b,c,d,e) using the shortcode tabs. The active displayed tab is "a."

We would like to each of the mainpage sliders link to their corresponding tab on page2. So on the mainpage, clicking on the image for service "c" would link to the page2, and showing tab "c" as the active.

Right now you only have an option to manually set an active tab. Is there a way to pass the variable for which tab is active based on which image is clicked from another page?
