Workaround won't be the prob - especially when you're using a custom post type (e. g. the Portfolio) to build a somehow larger database of entries it goes crazy and complicated. Maybe the maangement of all the modals is/was a reason to disable the shortcodes within the editor. I'll have a look by myself meanwhile - shouldn't be that hard. Then save the table and copy the shortcode to a text file. 2) Switch to the advanced editor and insert the table shortcode into the tab element. The problem is when I add a product using the wp e commerce plugin the product is shown as a "post" and on each product or post page it doesn't give me the option to change the template it uses and I assume it just uses the global default. So if someone could tell me how to change the global default in the code or how to change it in the template builder or how to change the template each post or product uses I would really appreciate it. Only the posts (on the blog page) will display a slideshow if you attached images to these posts but you can use the "dynamic template builder" to build a template with a "slideshow element" and a "blog" element. By using this workaround you can build a "blog" page with a slideshow. 2) I'm not sure what "banner images" are? For a shop, I would recommend using a regular page for the content to have the least interference possible. Then use CSS to target that specific page and remove the breadcrumbs and page title if you don't want them to show on that page. You could also try just using a dynamic template that is only page/post content. The problem is use global default shows breadcrumbs and the page title which I don't want so I am curious if anyone knows why this is happening and what I can do to fix it. I'm trying to create a dynamic template with a sidebar ordered in the following way - Page Split (slideshow area) - Text area (Paragraph style - contains 3rd party slider) - Page Split (main content) The problem is the sidebar runs the entire length of the page and effectively stretches the first page split (and the text area) to it's own length and then tags the main content on the end.
