Hi mfacer,

They need to be larger than the size specified on both edges in order to not be smaller than the others.

Hi - is there a setting somewhere (maybe I have missed it) which allows us to set the thumbnail size for "featured image" on blog grid view? I ran an image thumbnail updater but it still shows different sizes.

Please see http://www.touchscreenjukeboxes.co.uk for an example.

I would like them to be uniform and all the same size...

Is it something I have missed?

Thank you.

I am having issues with thumbnail sizes. Some are being displayed correctly while others are not. I was able to fix some of them by just deleting the images and re-uploading it back again. However, there's are several thumbnails that still have size issue regardless of what I do. How do I go about fixing this. Please take a look at the following page for an example: http://goo.gl/xQ9GI

Hi Dante,

1. This is a bit tricky. If you disable the auto width on the slideshow images then the overlay is still set to 100% and takes up the whole area and looks very odd. I've yet to find a solution for this for any of the themes.

What I would suggest instead is to use the image option to not show your first portfolio image on the single page view so that the thumbnail isn't even seen on the single page view. You can do this in the Theme Settings> Layou & Settings then the option for "Slideshow behavior on overview pages", Choose the third dropdown "Display only single image on overview pages and all slideshow images except the first one on single entries".

2. The gray hover option will be either on the template builder template for that specific portfolio area or in the Theme Options>Portfolio for that portfolio page.

Regards,

Two questions:

1. I want to keep the thumbnail images the same size when my site goes from portfolio main page to portfolio product page. as it is now, they're getting blown up to be the same size as the other images in the portfolio and the images are too small to support being made so large. How can I fix this?

Examples from my site:
Looks too fuzzy when thumbnail is blown up:
http://dantepauwels.com/portfolio-item/luum/

Looks nice as a thumbnail:
http://dantepauwels.com/portfolio-home/

2. How can I remove the grey hover? I tried changing the theme option toggle for this, but it didn't do anything.

Thanks for your help!
Dante

Hello everyone,

I got a problem about the thumbnails on the shop page. I use the same images size of all products but then the thumbnails generated are not the same. I try to re-upload the images, but it just doesn't work. Can anyone help me out with this?

Here is the website: http://www.huzidesign.com/shop/

You can see the thumbnails of "Dream Car II" and "Ping Pong" are bigger than others.

I really appreciate if there is a solution. ;)

Many thanks,

Hi,

You should be able to change thumbnail sizes by editing the functions.php in your theme files. These are the lines, you want to look at:

$avia_config['imgSize']['widget'] = array('width'=>36, 'height'=>36 ); // small preview pics eg sidebar news
$avia_config['imgSize']['post-format-image'] = array('width'=>630, 'height'=>999, 'crop'=>false);
// big images for post format image and gallery posts
$avia_config['imgSize']['fullsize'] = array('width'=>930, 'height'=>930, 'crop'=>false); // big images for lightbox and portfolio single entries
$avia_config['imgSize']['featured'] = array('width'=>930, 'height'=>340); // images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider
$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] = array('width'=>465, 'height'=>346); // images for portfolio entries (2,3,4 column)
$avia_config['imgSize']['logo'] = array('width'=>465, 'height'=>220); // images for dynamic logo/partner element

//dynamic columns
$avia_config['imgSize']['dynamic_1'] = array('width'=>446, 'height'=>151);
// images for 2/4 (aka 1/2) dynamic portfolio columns when using 3 columns
$avia_config['imgSize']['dynamic_2'] = array('width'=>609, 'height'=>210);
// images for 2/3 dynamic portfolio columns
$avia_config['imgSize']['dynamic_3'] = array('width'=>688, 'height'=>151);
// images for 3/4 dynamic portfolio columns

Depending on the size you may also need to adjust the CSS.

Hi all,

I'm creating a gallery page, http://gallery.robchester.com/?page_id=484#!prettyPhoto

I was able to fix the number of columns issue I was having by using this forum. I inserted this in the custom css file...
.gallery br { display: block;}

However, I'm still unable to get the thumbnails to be any larger.
I already tried .gallery-item { width: 150px;} in the custom css with the same settings under settings>media.

Would an outside plugin be able to override the issues I'm having and give me more options and control over how the thumbnails display?

Thanks!

Hi

What are all the files/changes I need to make to resize the homepage thumbnails? At the moment they are at 180x135.

Also if I make the thumbnails bigger and the row cannot accomodate the default 3 thumbnails will the thumbs get automatically positioned to just two thumbs per row or do I need to mae changes to code? If I do need to make manual changes please advise on what files/code I need to change

Lastly please give info on changing the size of the side bar thumbnails too

Thank you

B
