Hi!

Currently not planned. there are too many variables with plugins and extensions that might mess that up. So unless woothemes builds a natural ajax function for this we will stick to the current version :)

Best regards,

I noticed that the Add to Cart button is visible on single items without variation and there has to be a selection made before adding on the variable products. This makes sense, but I'm just wondering if there's anyway to have the button viewable with a default of 'please make a selection' or something like that?

Does this make sense? I have screen shots if needed, I didn't know how to attach them here.

Hi, does anyone know what needs to be done to create a password protected shopping page using the Abundance theme? I changed the visibility setting to password-protected but the shop page is still displaying all of the products. I'm trying to setup up a shop that is similar to what erikriemsdyk has done, two sections (one for retail and one for wholesale). Is there something else that needs to be done in order to password protect the shop page?

Thanks!

In the latest version (1.4.4) the code can be found in woocommerce\templates\cart\empty.php

Maybe you can even use the woocommerce_cart_is_empty() hook but I'm not entirely sure.

I have two types of products on my site. Wholesale & Retail. I duplicated the Retail product and added in a Wholsale price. I then created two different shop pages, one to display my Retail prices & one (which is password protected) to display my Wholesale prices.

The problem is that when someone on the site empties the shopping cart, the "Return to Shop" link returns that person to the WooCommerce Shop Base Page which displays all the Products ie my Wholesale products next to my Retail products.

I can't have my retail customers seeing my wholesale prices so I need to send the link to a specific page defined by me, ie my Retail Product Page.

How can I achieve this?

Thanks in advance for any help offered,

Hey,
basically you must modify kriesi_post_thumb.php ( located in framework > helper_function folder ). The preview images are retrieved by following code:

//get the full size image as well as the resized. if the url is the same then there was no resize and we need to use timthumb
		$image_src = wp_get_attachment_image_src($thumbnail_id, $option['size'][0]);
		$image_src2 = wp_get_attachment_image_src($thumbnail_id, NULL);

However I can't help you with the modification because it may take some time and is beyond the scope of this support forum.

I've found this code to be working for me which takes attachment (image) and puts it in the post :

<?php
$args = array(
'order'          => 'ASC',
'post_type'      => 'attachment',
'post_parent'    => $post->ID,
'post_mime_type' => 'image',
'post_status'    => null,
'numberposts'    => -1,
);
$attachments = get_posts($args);
if ($attachments) {
foreach ($attachments as $attachment) {
echo apply_filters('the_title', $attachment->post_title);
echo wp_get_attachment_link($attachment->ID, 'thumbnail', false, false);
}
}
?>

BUT:
Now I have the image shown in the post when I attach it to the form, but Now I don't have a preview in the home page of that image attachment. I'm also using a plugin auto post thumbnail, so I'm confused.

Guys I have a question I hope You can help:

I'm using append to content in TDO mini form plugin with the code from (MEMBER: crazywp) that displays all the images from every post. I would like to modify it but I am poor in php to make the code grab only the attachments from the post the submitter has published, and not every attachment from every post in the blog:

Thank You in advance :)

current code:

$attachments = get_children( array('post_parent' => get_the_ID(), 'post_type' => 'attachment', 'post_mime_type' => 'image') );

crazywp or anyone who can contribute I would be very thankfull!

How Can call only the 1st attachment from the current post to display them (mostly .jpg attachments) in the current post.

this code grabs all the attachments (images) from the blog and displays it under the 1st attachment (picture):

<?php
$attachments = get_children( array('post_parent' => get_the_ID(), 'post_type' => 'attachment', 'post_mime_type' => 'image') );
foreach ( $attachments as $attachment_id => $attachment ) {
echo '<div style="float:left;margin:0px 5px 0px 0px;background:#eeeeee;border:1px solid #bbb;padding:5px;" >';
echo '</div>';
} ?>

HOW CAN I EDIT THIS TO DISPLAY ONLY THE FIRST IMAGE NOT ALL IMAGES? THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL IN ADVANCE :)!
