Hi!

No, unfortunately not. Some calculations need to be done (container height, width, etc.) and you can't easily change the effect without risking to break something.

Best regards,

Hi,

That is some serious modifications. Please check the forums. I think this is outside the support team's mandate since its not a simple process just to change that transition as others have tried. If you are unable to find it yourself, I would recommend not to get involved or to seek a competent freelancer.

Thanks,

Open up angular\js\aviapoly_nomin.js and search for following two lines at the top:

betweenBlockDelay: 100,
 transitionSpeed:600,

change the transition speed value - eg set it to 1000 or 1200. Afterwards rename angular\js\aviapoly.js to angular\js\aviapoly_bak.js and angular\js\aviapoly_nomin.js to angular\js\aviapoly.js

Hello

I have 4 pictures sized to 940x420 in my slider. However when they transition from one picture to another there is a thick red border. How do I fix that? the site is at http://brillient.net

Thanks in advance

Hi mattbelanger,

As far as I know there isn't a setting to make the main news slider fade between posts instead of slide. That is only available on a basic slideshow element (created from an individual page or post).

Regards,

Devin

I would like the slider to 'fade' instead of 'slide' - I can't seem to find where to change the transition element. Help would be greatly appreciated!

If you refer to the content slider shortcode yes - i.e. it's used on this page: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/corona/templates/shortcodes/ (at the very bottom). You can create custom templates with slideshows of posts/pages, etc. too.

Corona looks great, one question however-Can I use the custom slider as in broadscope (Have a secondary slider elsewhere on a page.)

Hey,
basically all 3 mods can be done but require some work (especiallly css editing but propably some template modifications). We can help you with some aspects (like how to I change the color of xy, how to change the position, etc.) but we can't help you with all customization tasks. Imho Broadscope isn't a good alternative to Habitat but Corona is: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/corona/ (same menu, similiar blog structure, etc.)
