1) 1. The next/prev entry is aboout all the items of the portofolio? Or only the items of the category selected?

It will include all items. It's currently not possible to restrict it to a certain category (see also the discussion here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/is-it-possible-to-create-two-completely-seperate-portfolios )

2) Which portofolio item loads the related portofolio?

They're selected by terms. So if a portfolio item shares one or more terms (aka "portfolio categories") with the current item they're "related". We use the "random" query parameter to display different items on each page load.

3. How can I add a breadcrumb in this theme to easily turn back to the portofolio page when I am in portofolio single page?

I'd recommend: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/ because it does not only support a breadcrumb but it will help you to improve your seo in general.

To install the breadcrumb open up single.php, page.php and single-portfolio.php and replace

echo avia_title(array('title' => $title, 'link' => $t_link, 'subtitle' => $t_sub));

with

echo avia_title(array('title' => $title, 'link' => $t_link, 'subtitle' => $t_sub));

if ( function_exists('yoast_breadcrumb') ) {
	yoast_breadcrumb('<p id="breadcrumbs">','</p>');
}

Hello, I have some questions about usability when you are in portofolio single page. I think the portofolio page is great, you can select the category of the portofolio entries, and automatically the items of this category are shown. But when you enter in a portofolio single page, you don't have the possibility to turn back, there isn't a breadcrumb or something, and the only you can do is go to the next entry o the previous one. And also the related entries.

I think the user doesn't know how to return to the same list of portofolio items that was watching.

In my website I have select to show the portofolio entry in a single page (not with ajax portofolio)

Some questions:
1. The next/prev entry is aboout all the items of the portofolio? Or only the items of the category selected?
2. Which portofolio item loads the related portofolio?
3. How can I add a breadcrumb in this theme to easily turn back to the portofolio page when I am in portofolio single page?

Thanks,

Marc

1) You can use the text-overflow: ellipsis; css attribute to truncate the title on overview pages. Add following code to css/custom.css:

.template-portfolio-overview .portfolio-title{
text-overflow: ellipsis;
}

2) No, unfortunately Angular does not support a thumbnail navigation feature.

2 questions, hopefully quick ones –

1. Is it possible to have a shortened title on the portfolio main page (4 column display) and have a longer title on the single page entry?

2. Is it possible to display tiny thumbnails / preview images underneath a slideshow? Both on a custom template (front page) but mostly for a portfolio single page?

Precedence coming from this WP site (likely custom theme) – http://www.ceiarchitecture.com/project/okanagan-college-centre-of-excellence/

Many thanks!
