Hi tonidelacuesta,

Can you switch to one of the default wordpress themes (twenty twelve for example) and see if this happens with those as well. If you have any plugins active besides woo commerce, you can try disabling those as well to see if there is a weird plugin conflict.

Regards,

Hello Everyone!

Everytime I change something in "Edit product" the values of the attributes I have set (different colours for example) disappear from the "Choose an option" tab. I need to match every colour with its variation again.

Hi Eden,

No I don't believe so. At least, not in the way you currently have it set up. From my understanding, you would need to set up a variation for Size and one for Color. Those two variations would then have those choices within them.

Then on your actual product, you would add in Size and Color as variations. From the variations tab you could then make combinations from those variations that you can add specific prices to. Ex: Size 8+Red = 10 dollars where Size 10+Red =12 dollars.

Regards,

Hi,

I'm wanting to add variable products to my site, and have set up the sizes for each garment with a drop down menu for people to select which colour they want to add to their cart.

The problem is, the add to cart button doesn't show up until a selection from each size has been made - is it possible to set up an add to cart button for each variation? eg. if they want to order 1 x pink and 1 x lavender?

Here is a product page I'm working on at the moment: http://www.wereallmadhere.co/shop/reservation-betty-jsk/

Please help!

Thank you,

Hi Devin,

You're partly right, draft products wouldn't display options, but even re-saving same and also some that were published before.

Anyhow everything's back to a proper way of publishing. But the mystery is complete because nobody made anything so once again it fixed itself all alone, with no update or blabla.

Kind regards,

Hi Sophie,

It sounds like perhaps you may need to go into your products and just re-save them so they update server side.

Items not yet published have always been a bit quirky and just fully publishing an item may fix the issues you are running in to.

Hi Peter,

Please go on this one and try to get the "anthracite" color. Altough it is setted up and activated, it makes it on a lot of products, not displaying all the options, or displaying only 1 or 2.

Hi,

A little update: the bugs comes from woocommerce 1.6.5.2 + wordpress 3.4.2
It must be a developing point, but don't know how to use firebug in order to find out the reason of the bug.
If anybody can help it would be heaven cause this is now hell considering I have 80% variable products...

Hi,

Since I updated to last woocommerce version it won't display choices rows for variable products.
It's none of my pluggins doing this (checked already each of them) so I guess there's something new/ changed in woocommerce that avoid me to work.

Anybody got an idea about this? it's actually a big big pain in my dash...

Hey!

Yes, exactly. Variations don't support cross sells thus you need to create seperate products if you want to link different cross sell products to them.

Hi Ismael,

I'm not sure what you mean to create a different product to each variation. Do you create, say if I have 6 variations, create 6 products so to add cross-sells?

Hello,

As far as I know, you can only apply cross-sells on a specific product but not on its variation. The work around is to make different product for each variation and apply your cross-sells accordingly.

Other than that, I don't think the support team can help you any further. Let me tag the rest of the support team if they have any idea.

Hi

I have a product that varies as follows:

FLY REEL IR; available sizes"IR2, IR3, IR4; each size in any of these available colors: "gold, black, silver"; cost varies per/size; each size has an upsell and crossell product; inventory is by color/reel; each size varies in weight but not necessarily dimension.

I have setup the product as a variable product of course, using attributes such as color, reel size, reel hand (left or right). I created a Gravity Form and use the Gravity Form Addons extensions to allow customers to purchase a spare spool for their reel. I also use the Product Swatches & Photos extension for switch between colors, and for this to work the product has to be variable and the color variation must be used. I'm told that the Swatch extension will not work with the Gravity Form Addons, the form does not display at all! This is not as big a deal because I can not use the Swatches for this type of products or I can later find a way around to make this work.

My question/issue is, how do I get each of the variation to have its own upsells and crossells?

Hope this not too confusing. If you need more clarification, please let me know.

Here's the link of the product
http://tremblaytechweb.com/TWdev/shop/islander-ir-ratchet-fly-reel?preview=true&preview_id=5543&preview_nonce=3772da5467
