Hi veisg,

First try disabling all active plugins to make sure there is no conflict there.

Then try re-uploading the theme files without re-naming the folder and see if you can use the template builder without issue at that point.

Regards,

i updated the brightbox theme to the new version. i uploaded the theme into "themes" folder and i renamed the folder theme to "ampazour".

I'd recommend to ask the hoster if they can check the configuration. You can also try to contact the woocommerce dev team - http://www.woothemes.com/support/ - they've more experience with WooCommerce & the plugin configuration and they can provide better support when it comes to plugin related issues/questions.

Hi June,

I am seeing a weird error on one of your jquery files http://www.clipular.com/c?4682034=6OqMbrR51u2vmRNmVt9q6r04UgQ&f=.png which is likely related to the problem with addresses since the error is about cookies. You need to contact your host since it looks like your Apache server may be misconfigured.

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 406 (Not Acceptable)

1) This will be fixed in the next update (which will be released next week). Open up wp-content\themes\propulsion\config-woocommerce\config.php and replace:

remove_action( 'woocommerce_product_tabs', 'woocommerce_product_description_tab', 10 );
remove_action( 'woocommerce_product_tab_panels', 'woocommerce_product_description_panel', 10 );

with:

//remove_action( 'woocommerce_product_tabs', 'woocommerce_product_description_tab', 10 );
//remove_action( 'woocommerce_product_tab_panels', 'woocommerce_product_description_panel', 10 );
add_filter( 'woocommerce_product_tabs', 'avia_wc_tabs' );

and at the very bottom of the file insert:

function avia_wc_tabs( $tabs ) {
    unset( $tabs['description'] );

    return $tabs;
}

2) It's not possible to use the description tab for other content but you can use this extension: http://www.woothemes.com/products/woocommerce-tab-manager/

3) Yes this changed with WC2.0. The short description tab represents the "excerpt text" of a product which does not support html tags, etc. You can only use plain text. This behavior is similar to standard post excerpts which don't support html tags too. You can try a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/advanced-excerpt/ but I'm not sure if it works with products.

4) Search for following line in wp-content\themes\propulsion\config-woocommerce\config.php and replace:

'title'=>__('Short Description','avia_framework'),

with:

'title'=>__('Details','avia_framework'),

I have a couple of issues with product displays using Woo Commerce that sort of sound like what you've discussed here, but I am not sure.

Please see this page as my example: http://oils4relief.com/product/lavender-essential-oil/

1. The text next to the image is repeated in the "Description" tab below. I actually entered this text in the "short description" box beneath the post box first, but then had to move it to the post box to get it to appear next to the image. Is this part of the known bug? It is not a problem to switch these around as I build products, unless this is going to get fixed in a future update of the plugin and mess up my display. What can/should I do to prevent this?
2. I would like to rename that "Description" tab to be "More Info" and use it to display additional text, images, etc. about the product.
3. I entered the text currently showing in the "short description" tab in the post body initially, but had to move it to short description to get it to show in the first tab. (See above questions about switching the order)
4. In the "short description" I also used html "p" tags and even tried "break" tags, but can not get it to correctly display paragraphs.
4. I do not want this first tab called "short description. I would like to rename it "Details"

Where and how do I need to make these changes?

Thanks,
Liz

Hi!

The register-plugins.php can be found in the theme directory - navigate to \wp-content\themes\propulsion\includes\admin\ and there you'll find register-plugins.php.

Nick, 4 days ago you posted the info below on how to stop the forced install and activation of BBpress. I tried to follow this but couldn't find the /admin.register-plugins.php file in either wp-includes or the includes file in the BBpress plugin. I also looked for it in wp-admin. Nothing. Could you please provide the rest of the path or could there be a different file name for it?

Thanks,
Liz

Hi,

The bug about being forced to install BBpress can be fixed by opening up /includes/admin/register-plugins.php file and deleting everything inside it. Inside the now empty file, you should add the code found here http://pastebin.com/afxawCM1

I believe that is related to not having any information in the short description field on a product. If you put in at least a single line of text there that should prevent the error from happening.

Give that a try and please let us know :)

Hi,
After updating Propulsion to 1.9.1 I don't have the function.uasort warning ! Thanks for that.
One bug is still remaining :
On the woocommerce product pages I can see duplicate product description but not on all pages !
Really strange...
As mentionned in the forum in functions.php I added :

add_filter( 'woocommerce_product_tabs', 'remove_wc_tab' );
remove_action( 'woocommerce_product_tabs', 'woocommerce_product_description_tab', 10 );
remove_action( 'woocommerce_product_tab_panels', 'woocommerce_product_description_panel', 10 );

As you can see :
This product page is fine :
http://www.galerielj.com/produit/stefano-monfeli-pane-print1/
But this one is not :
http://www.galerielj.com/produit/artist-swoon-print-monica-white/

Is it supernatural ?????????
Thanks

That's not a theme error or a WPML problem. Probably you activated the debug mode and now WP also outputs warnings. You can deactivate it by editing the wp-config.php file: http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress#WP_DEBUG

Hi, i have wordpress 3.5.1 with WPML 2.6.4.1 and Choices 1.7, and when I change to the spanish version, a warning appears at the top of the page.

Warning: error_log() has been disabled for security reasons in /usr/home/topcommerce.es/web/top/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1036

You can see the error here:

I have used some times this theme and WPML but I've never had this error.

Hello Everyone,

We are consolidating all of bugs that have come up with the WooCommerce 2+ updates into a single thread for each theme. The support crew will be using your individual bug posts to add to this list and then soft closing that individual topic. Any fixes will be posted right here along with the bug so that everything is in one place.

Hopefully this will help get things solved a little quicker and the next round of updates fully packed with enough bug squashing power to get things running great for everyone again :)

Reported Bugs for Propulsion:

bbPress alert is blocking access to some theme and woocommerce sections

Install and activate the plugin.
(You don't need to actually use it )

There are two product sorting dropdowns and you want to remove the duplicate

.shop_title_container .woocommerce-ordering{
display: none !important;
}

If you have any others that are not listed here you can report theme here or if you have already made a post on one you don't see here you can respond here with a link to it.

We'll be deleting any responses once they have been recorded but leaving the topic open so that everyone is able to respond :)

Regards,

Hi Pixelist,

We can't really help set up a MU set up. You'll need to check with http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network and then the wordpress support forums if you have any issues.

Regards,

Hi Kriesi

I get this message when I attempt to do a create network of wordpress sites:-

"Because your install is in a directory, the sites in your WordPress network must use sub-directories"

"Warning! The main site in a sub-directory install will need to use a modified permalink structure, potentially breaking existing links."

Is this a big problem?

Would it be easy to fix?

Would it mess up things with woo-commerce if the permalink structure was modified?

I'm aiming on using Propulsion on the first then another one of your themes (not ecommerce) on the second site.

Cheers

Pixelist

As far as I know it's been happening since I installed it. I'm using the latest version of wordpress and choices and only have one plugin installed, and it was doing it before I installed the plugin.

Thanks!

Hi Chris,

Usually a "file_get_contents" warning means somewhere the code is trying to pull content from a location that's unavailable. When did this happen? Was everything fine before? Are you using the latest version of WordPress and Choices? Do you have any plugins installed?

Regards,
Mya
